change text to number field
The phone number Field is a text Field input rather than a number input so I was able to enter incorrect invalid characters such as a parentheses and a-when I shouldn’t have been able to, and then it did not tell me that that was an error so when I press create account, it did not register that if so, I kept having to re-create an account until I realized I was entering invalided characters when inputting my phone number

Generally a good and very helpful app
The Fork app generally works very well for me. When travelling with my family I am booking for 5-6 people and we like to be a bit spontaneous, so I am usually booking 12-48 hours in advance which can be a challenge for a group that size. The Fork usually has many options for booking that fit our timeline and our demographic, and the booking system works well for the most part. The app does have a few glitches. It would not initially allow me to book when I signed in with my AppleID as it would get stalled at one point in the confirmation process and not allow me to proceed with any bookings (eventually I got it to work), and sometimes the pages freeze when browsing and I have to close and reopen it. But most of the time it works well and I have made great use of it while travelling across Europe!

Last minute cancellation for special dinner.
I’m not want to leave bad reviews as I am a business person myself and understand the punch in the gut when one receives a bad review, but I’m left with no choice because of the lack of communication.
I planned a special 80th birthday dinner for my mother with plenty of advanced notice at Le Comptoire de la Torraque in Antibes during a long planned overseas celebration for a family of 8. I was emailed the morning of the reservation to be told it was canceled because they could not accommodate for size. There was no other indication that there was a problem with the reservation after booking. There was not even a solution to change the time or make two tables, rather than one because of small size of the restaurant. This leaves me scrambling to find a special restaurant during the busy European holiday season, which is unacceptable. I will be very hesitant to use The Fork and certainly if this restaurant pulls last minute cancellations whether legitimate or not for a more “favored client”, it doesn’t deserve it rating it seems to garner for its food alone. Excellent customer service also comes with dining at a high-level.

Great app but unable to make a booking at times
This is a great app but I am unable to make a booking at times. It so for restaurants that retire a credit card to make the booking. On restaurant websites when I am making such a booking my credit card company might prompt an authorisation process. Example I am with Barclaycard, it will take me to Barclays and I can opt for a unique number to be sent to me by text message that I then enter to authorise it. However, this app does not seem to be able to offer that function and it just informs me that something has gone wrong. I suspect it is because my credit card company wants to go through this authorisation process. It would be great if you can rectify/add this on the app.
