  • Solid app

    Good quick workouts which generally burn me out (though I’m usually using the app once I’ve gotten out of shape haha). Videos are nice and descriptions good. Inexpensive and spartan, it provides structure for workouts (most of which can be done in a hotel gym/home - important for keeping me fit as gym access can be iffy). Maybe my perspective is skewed because I’ve had the app for 6-8 years and haven’t really scoped out comparable apps, but I’ve gotten what I wanted out of the app, which was quick bodyweight exercises that gas me and can be done in a variety of settings (gym, home, morning run past high school field).

  • Great no equipment needed

    Easy to use and a great quick little workout to fit in to a busy day.

    Easy app to use and navigate. The gorilla workout is free but there are other workouts for you to choose from. However they have to be paid for. The app tells you what exercise to do in the workout, how many of each exercise to do and how many rounds to do. There’s also written explanations of the exercises and videos on how to perform each exercise. Good starting point for anyone choosing to start getting into a fitness routine. No need for a gym and expensive gym fees.
    I’ve decided it’s time I sort myself out after being years of being fat and unfit. Just doing a workout has got me out of breath. So unfit. But I’m not giving up and determined to drop the weight!

  • Great for Hotel/On-The-Road Workouts

    A great companion app for when I’m on the road and away from a conventional gym. Videos to show the moves, realistic workouts, and a straightforward interface. I’m glad the Developer has continued to update the app since my purchase years ago (unlike some Devs that allow their app to fail since they don’t update as new iOs versions are released).

  • Simply good

    This app is simple and to the point. I completely recommend it for someone that is just now starting to work out. Not many people know where to start and this app gives you exact workouts with exact instructions and videos to show you proper form! I love it!

  • Great tool for the tool belt

    This app is a great tool for the beginner and the veteran. For the beginner, it's a great tool to use when building your foundation. It teaches you the basics and progresses to teach you how to modify them Into more functional movements. For the veteran, it brings you back to the basics. All in all, this is a great tool to hang onto and as with most things in life, your results are determined on the commitment and consistency that YOU put into it.

  • Great app for the money

    I really like this app as it fits into my busy life. I love that it has different levels to keep you constantly challenged. Things I would like to see updated eventually- 1. The timer overlays the exercises so it’s hard to see the order of the exercises when you have the timer running; 2. No ability to track progress in the app (it would be great to be able to keep track of this all in one app and not have to go to a different app to track my weight loss goal); 3. More useful features - along the bottom there are links to their workouts, settings and supplements but I would love to see suggestions of which of their workouts to combine for specific goals. Basically, each of the workout options are great, there are just a few little things that could be tweaked.

    Really like this app so far. Completed first two workouts and it's so far worth the price.

    Would have loved a feature to record times though.
