Great interaction and recovering skills

I love this app that created for people suffering from ED, couple of things could be developed:

1. sometimes there are situations that the keyboard is unable to be used, I could only type the words and paste them in the blanks. this occurs in community, pairing, inviting clinicians interfaces.

2. maybe could the staff make the interface more ethical and engaging? It would definitely improve my motivation to have my things recorded in the app. I mean it is an app that provides psychological support anyway, if it is a bank app, nobody would cares about this, but this is not just about “functioning”.

Love it so Far!

I’ve been battling with this illness for 21 years and I’ve been constantly trying and failing to heal from this. I’m only on day one of this app but so far I think it is a GREAT tool to get you thinking and discovering what your triggers might be and coming up with solutions. It creates awareness and accountability. Plus if you have to log you food it might help you avoid binging if you know you have to write it down and face the emotions behind it. I’m going to keep trying … that’s all I know.

Love it

I don’t have any eating disorders. I’ve been on some diets throughout my life, because I’ve been told I need to lose weight. I’m trying intuitive eating, because it just seems like it would be the right thing for me. This app is super super easy to use. Literally, all you have to do is take a picture of your food, answer some questions, and you’re done. I have ADHD, and this is way easier than any other food, journaling app I’ve tried. Keep up the good work.

Great App!

Pretty easy to use, helps me keep track of my thoughts and feelings while eating. Helps me feel less guilty and more conscious of what I’m doing

Amazing App

I have tried many different food logging apps in the long journey from an eating disorder. This one is by far the best. I love how customizable it is, you can share it with your support team, you can use photos (or not), track your mood, urges to binge, purge, restrict , ect.
It has everything you need and is free of cost although this is an app I would be more than happy to pay for.
Thank you!

Easy and helpful tool

Just as the title states - way better than a food journal, the reminders are helpful and being able to connect with your therapist is great. Really, reinforces mindful eating.

Fantastic app.

I’ve only had this a few days and it has had a massive impact on my behaviour with food. I feel calmer, more balanced, more able to not eat when I feel a compulsion. I wish I’d found this sooner not only for my it’s positive effect on my eating but also the positive calming effect on my life.

Great support

I am finding RR really helpful in my
Recovery journey, I have paid for many courses to recover from binge eating and RR has been
The best at keeping me accountable of my daily routine and let’s me see the habits I have created and how I can make changes to get better each and every day. The fact that it is free is amazing.

I love it
I would recommend to anyone wanting to track food and emotions

It’s really helped me !! Be conscious when eating and my emotions around food :)

Well developed.

I have been using Recovery Record for about 5 weeks, and I enjoyed using it then as I have now! There are lots of “tools” that one can find on Recovery Record to cope with adverse effects symptoms, emotions, or thoughts that relate to disordered eating. Some of my favorite of these tools include the “reasons to recover” activity and the “My goals” section. Just be sure to explore the “more” panel on the bottom right-hand corner of the home page so you don’t miss out on about 1/2 of the activities that Recovery Record offers. The meal log system captures the whole meal dynamic including emotions, food choices, and thoughts involved in the event. It also allows the user to customize how they want to record their meals. At first, the meal logs seem to take 5 minutes, but only write what you and your clinical team find helpful, and with practice you can log a meal in only 2 minutes. I heard from a clinician, however, that the ‘holiday mode’ doesn’t work so well, because when they turn it on during vacation, they still receive notifications for every meal log a patient records (and that can really add up if you are gone for a week and have several patients).
