  • Needs updating

The functionality of the app is fine, but there are items that would make it better.

Facial recognition for login. It is annoying to have to enter user name and password every time.

Having your medications listed in the renewal and being able to select the ones that you want to refill. You currently have to scan or enter the information for each med that you are looking to refill.

  • Great doctors and hospital staff

Never once had a bad experience with any doctors here or staff. Many of the nurses are really trained well and have always taken good care of me. The hospital actually saved my life during a severe case of Afib which they got under control, and the hospitals in Maryland kept sending me home without treatment. WellSpan insisted I stay in the hospital while they monitored me and was able to find a medication for me to take to stop my episodes.

  • Easy To Log In & That’s It

Bad enough it’s difficult to get on the phone with an actual human being who understands your questions & can give you answers in a way you can understand, but this app is almost as bad if not worse. Constantly bugs out, you have trouble paying your bills on here half the time etc. I’m sorry, but it’s bad enough that our healthcare system is a joke. Now we’ve got the app equivalent of that on here. Go figure.

  • Suggestion

Hello, it's just a suggestion, everything in the application is great, but you should put the printer button because if you need a document, you can print it
  • Excellent Care

I had a procedure done on 8/15. The care I received was excellent. The whole team was friendly, kind and very professional. Tiffany was exceptional in all areas. She made everything easy. It was not my favorite place to spend my day however I was happy to receive such good care. Thank you Tiffany R and team.

  • Happy to help medical Care!

My husband and I depend of our WellSpan physicians, family physicians, orthopedic surgeons, ophthalmologist, emergency room physicians, neurologist and gynecologists. We appreciate their expertise and support. They are very cooperative with referrals to university physicians and ready to share their studies as well as follow their recommendations.

  • The real Penn State football players but in the medical field.

I am blessed by the work of the WellSpan health system. I think of all the workers at well span as I would of our Penn State Nittany Lions football players. The way the quarterback coordinates a pass or a defensive safety backing up his defensive team. From the Doctors to nurses and all specialists and their medical secretaries of the sub specialist and their team. I am proud to be under the care of a good team or unity of health care workers. This health care system don’t care if your the president coming in for care or a simple everyday factory worker or someone who is homeless. Everyone is treated the same by our WellSpan health care workers. Thanks to all of you at WellSpan for performing your work like our Penn State football team coordinate a win. If I had more than two thumbs to put up, you all would get them.

  • WellSpan Restrictions of Doctors

Having returned from a doctor visit, I suggest that WellSpan be more open-minded with allowing all doctors more freedom in offering better/new medication choices for any patient.

Unfortunately it is accurate that “CONTROL” (which runs rampant) is WellSpan’s mode of managing business. Doctors need freedom to offer their best choice in medication for a patient’ needs. It appears that teamwork (doctors and mgmt.) is NOT a guideline or goal. Patient’s best care should be the primary goal for all hospitals. I’m encouraging management to be open minded, take consideration of doctor’s talents rather than giving too much attention to the bottom line ONLY.

Total Quality Care for the patients should keep highly skilled doctors in Chambersburg and protect health-care needs for the area residents.

  • Frustrating & lacking quality patient care

While being able to manage appointment’s & see test results in a timely manner is all great & appreciated, this being used to communicate information from Dr to patient on what they need to be doing (meds, life changes etc) in reference to outcome of test results is not at all good & quite frustrating! It takes out the ability to ask questions & get quick responses. There was an error in a med that was ordered but I can’t even get back to the lengthy message that was sent to me regarding the med. There were two other things mentioned in this lengthy message that I needed to be able to respond to & had some questions but all I can do is send a message & wait up to 48 hours to get a response. After my last visit someone had actually called me & went over my results which I think is much better for the patient. You can’t take the personal contact out of everything. Everything cannot be automated. What is saving you time & trouble is creating a great deal of stress for the patient.
