Latest update error! Fix it please!!
Currently when I log in it asks me to do a security update or logout, I literally can’t even check my recent transactions on this useless app!! When I select update option it does some redirecting and loading only to throw an error message to say authentication failed. There are no instructions so I don’t know what else to do. It gives me the option to update or logout that there’s no way of bypassing! I currently can’t do anything on the app!!Show lessfuff96
Probably the worst banking app ever
This app is pathetic. The hoops of security to jump through are crazy. It keeps asking me to upgrade security within the app and yet I’m in this constant doom loop where the authentication fails due to a technical issue.
It is quite literally the worst customer experience ever. I have several other banks and credit cards in other countries whose apps and online logins are way simpler and more secure.

Honestly trust Ireland to make the worst mobile banking app. Everything is so backwards. If you experience any issues at all..call the information line. Currently living in Australia and the banking apps here are much easier to use and to log into not to mention just as safe/secure compared to Irish banking apps such as this. Super awkward and not user friendly towards international residing customers. Would recommend the app developers to research other banking apps and adopt their practices as opposed to their own ridiculous app. Maybe they’d have less customers calling them then…?Show lessCJapple97

Shocking App
Log in and asks you to update the security of the app…unable to do so and asks you to log out. It’s been like this for months now. I can’t even check my account or transactions. As a result I’ll be closing my account with AIB and moving it to Ulster Bank. Should be marked a zero as there seems to be no attempt to resolve any of the issues otherwise it would be a priority and fixed within days.Show lesskron_79
AIB are the literal worst
This bank cannot get their tech together, much less their customer service. Every time they push a “security” update, the only thing they actually secure is me being able to access my own account to pay bills including rent. Worthless app, terrible bank. Avoid.SgtBrody

Where do we start with this nightmare of an app ...what a total waste of time . When I was a boy the AIB was by far the best bank in Ireland .. boy have they crashed .. compared to the English banking app’s this belongs with the flintstones .. and what is it with silly card readers ? iPhones are capable of this security check,Barclays have pinsintry built into the app ...
