“security” update broke online banking
when i first opened an AIB account in 2019 the online banking system worked quite well. Now, however, I am unable to use the app after doing the “1-time setup” because the app forced me into a security update that always fails. Even worse, online banking with the new SCA security forces me to register with my phone, but every time i go through the entire process and it tells me i’m done it sends me right back to the start and I CANT ACCESS MY ACCOUNT. Signed in and setup all new protocols needed. Logged out and tried to sign in again and it’s trying to update again and again and again and continually failing. Absolute trash.Hammer_Man

WORST BANK EVER
This bank app has given me hell over the years. It never works. It always has a stupid update that never completes because of ‘technical issues’ yet you can’t use the app without the update. This is so ridiculous and aib do nothing to help they don’t respond to emails and I can’t call because I’m in the UK. Save yourself a lot of hassle and join a different bank.Show lessYgvtvgbjhbhvtv
Credit Card Balance is Confusing
My credit card has a positive balance. A green sum. No money is owed. However the balance states a minimum payment is due for the next billing date. Surely that notice should be removed once the minimum payment is made, regardless of the balance owed etc. Otherwise it’s just confusing.seanieb123
Worst nightmare app
The AIB app is terrible, worst banking app I have used. I cannot access my money and transfer to another account because I am stuck in a loop with trying to update, I then have to wait a week for a new security code and then rinse and repeat.Benjamin or 1244
Broken
The only reason I have this app is to do banking. Yet I can’t do that. The app says it needs to update, but then authentication fails. I am in a loop that is incredibly annoying.A clever name 55
