  • Constant Security Updates

    Every time I try to use this app there is a new security update which fails to work for unknown reasons.

    Security is important but Jesus Christ there is a line between usable and secure
  • AIB are behind on the times

    There are so many hoops to jump through to log in, send money etc. Every other bank is so much easier to use and obviously just as secure without having to use card readers or multi factor, OR get sent a pin BY MAIL to update your mobile app seems so antiquated.

    AIB are so far behind. Their ideas around security is shocking.
  • What an absolutely shambolic app

    The function of an app is to make things quick and easy. Quick and easy is not something AIB is capable of.

    I work in cyber security, specifically for banking in the uk and I genuinely laugh showing this app around the office in work. Card readers haven’t been a thing for a decade or more, complete farce.

    Time to look for an actual progressive bank in Ireland (even with the limited selection) because this is embarrassing. Hire an app developer, or better yet a team, pay them sufficiently and point them squarely at the digital banks. That’s the minimum to expect

  • Absolute garbage

    The year is 2022 and your app still works like something that was built when mobile apps started to become a thing. Functions hardly work, but most importantly for the past year it ‘keeps’ asking me to update after I log in, but the update always ‘fails’. This has been going on for a year.

    There are so many mobile app developers out there that could build you a secure financial app for around 5K. You guys should be embarrassed. I’m actually closing my account and moving all my money to the future thinking banks like Wise, Revolut, etc. They know the year is 2022 and tech should just work. You’re an embarrassment.

  • Dreadful

    Constantly requires a full log-in with that awful code reader. Then the never ending ‘updates’. Dreadful. Absolutely not worth using
  • New security update won’t work in ISS

    Can’t do the new security update in the US so can’t access account…..no one can fix it.
  • Deeply unprofessional

    This app is shocking. I spent 2 whole work days setting it up for our company with costumer support on the phone for most of the time. Complete waste of their time and mine. I was also forced to create a new email address just for this purpose because it’s not possible to use the email address the bank has on file as your login email address. The app frequently crashes and makes you login several times just for one purchase. Deeply unprofessional and underdeveloped.

  • Gambling apps

    Is there any chance you add a “Block betting sites(apps) to the app?
  • Can’t access my account

    I am able to go through the verification and set up for the 2 factor security with cardholder, but once I am in it says I have to update. It then says it can’t update / authenticate and so it logs me out! I then try the whole set up again but the same thing happens. I am out of Ireland now so I have no way of accessing my account otherwise. Please fix this soon. I’ll probably close my account altogether if this continues
