Video Title Change When Labeling Is Annoying!
I’ve had no real issues until the most recent update. The camera default names the videos something that used to easily be erased by tapping the “x” next to the name. Now in order to erase and rename the video, I have to hold the backspace key and delete however many(30?) characters. Please bring back the old way. When trying to label videos in between calls, speed and convenience help!Show lessML123454321

Don’t know if it’s an update or a bug, but having to confirm my agency every time I categorize a video is becoming annoying. And the never ending cycle of entering all the metadata for a video and hitting SAVE only to see that it didn’t save at all and having to input everything all over? If there’s one thing cops have plenty of time for after knocking out three reports over their lunch break, completing their daily journal entries, watching the annual EEO training video, and filling out a race and gender profile survey for every person they talk to, it’s inputting the same data twice for every body cam video they did that day.Show lessTango-and-Cash

Axon does a lot of things well, this app is not one of them. The login loop with no message about the reason for failure and the intermittent camera pairing issues are frustrating.
I routinely have to delete the app and re-download it and start over. These issues are not new. Hard to understand how they keep being ignored when their customer base and revenue keeps expanding.Show lesswifvrkry
Does not pair with new Camera
Our department, Honolulu Police Department, rarely issues department phones. Chances are you are waiting up to 2 or 3 years for one. The Axon 2 body camera would pair via Bluetooth to the app saving Hours of unnecessary time having to wait for your videos to upload and labeling them. So for the Axon 2 body cams I would rate 5 out of 5. But the new Axon 3 it won’t pair to the app. Our department has a strict “Label your videos at end of shift” policy and videos take 1 or 2 hours to upload. After a long 10 hour, soon to be 12 hour, shift it really is discouraging to have to wait for the upload just to label. I prefer labeling with ID number on the go. Saves little free time you have and you aren’t staying at the station donating free work because they don’t do Overtime for Labeling.Show lessAppleGamer_808

Please try upgrading to the latest version 5.6.0 which was released in early August to address many pairing issues. I have to delete the app and reinstall almost daily. When it is working, it’s nice to be able to tag videos promptly. But there are plenty of bugs to be worked out.RubinIt Raw
Slow and buggy
Had this app for many years, and there has been little to no improvement. Lately, the app is stuck on a loop of making you log in. You enter your credentials, hit enter and then it takes you right back to the login screen again, making the app useless until an update comes out.
The app has always been dramatically slow while trying to review video and tag videos.
For a company that has a monopoly on this market, y’all don’t seem to care much about one of your most crucial apps.Show lessA Bad Lobster
Worst app ever
Connected to camera is a struggle that requires deleting and reinstalling app. Every step reveals numerous bugs. After 2 days I finally connected it and as soon as I started viewing footage it booted me off numerous times and required reconnecting.
The idea of a phone interface is great. Would be nice if it worked.

Terrible app
The idea of a phone interface is great, however it needs to function. Will not connect on my iPhone 13 pro max, and only connected once to an iPhone 11. App delivers a whole new set of problems on each phone (currently, one phone won’t connect to axon wifi, the other just loops me through the login screen every time I put in my info).

Unreliable
When the app works it’s great. Often times it won’t pair with the camera and sometimes it gets stuck in a log in loop. If I plug it in to the computer then I can’t use the phone app afterwards. I usually have to delete the app and re-install it to get it to work again.Mr L Carlo
Wow
They throw around being “the best out there”, but somehow can’t fix this app. It’s been broken for so long and for so many updates. Having to re-download numerous times, having to re- login every other day, have it freeze up and not play videos, and now not allow me to login at all… wow.
