I rented a vehicle and it ended up having problems . So I contacted the owner of the vehicle she apologized for my inconvenience and stated that she didn’t have another vehicle to replace it so I would need to contact Getaround fl. I contact Getaround fl and spoke with a rep named Rose. I was told to take the vehicle back to the pick up location and they would provide me with another vehicle. I got there called getaround fl back and was told they couldn’t provide me with another vehicle. I booked 4 days and only completed one. Getaround left me stranded didnt find me another rental they are too high and inconvenientShow lesshxjcjj
Easy to use and good customer service.
I encountered some technical challenges transferring my account from the old app and the communication I had with getaround on the phone was helpful, kind and patient . Wish all apps would have such customer service . Also very nice to be able to speak to someone on the phone not just a bot. App is great and easy to use.Show lessAslaug V.

I used to rent a car Thru orbitz or Expedia and rent regular car rental from Avis , Hertz,Budget etc.. I realized that with Getaround, when u add on extra insurance It is basically the same price than regular car rental except with Avis or Budget ,cars are in great condition low mileage and are not beat up . Also Avis Budget and other car rental will Never penalize you for a scratch less than 2 “. I got charged 500 euros for a scratch that was probably due to a parked car door next to me ! I found that outrageous for a 8 years old car with over 100,000 kms . I will cancel my account with GetaroundShow lessRibertSanDiego

Definitely not recommended
Unprofessional company. They had received the documents they requested two months prior to the rental day, however they decided to wait until that day and when I was right in front of the car to rent, to notify me that my profile was not verified and that they needed an official translation of one document; this was after two hours of several calls and requests of follow-up. In brief, I was unable to rent the car; I had to cancel my rental and that ruined my whole plan.

I rented this petrol car for 4 weeks. The car had obviously not been checked by the owner since the last rental, but in spite being dirty inside and outside, the car functioned excellent all the time.
When complained, the car was cleaned and I also experienced a great service when I needed information!

Getaround used to be my favorite rental app, now since you guys changed to get around Florida, it has been terrible. Prices have racked up twice the amount, car availability in my area disappeared. You guys should be ashamed of yourself charging over $40 for one hour and the vehicle is over 4 miles away. Are used to pay $50 to rent a car for 3-4hours. I will not be using Getaround again, unless you go back to your original application.Show lesseva crossfire
