  • Does not ring

    Almost a good app but the ringer you select for pages in app is not the sound you get when you receive a page. Instead a generic iPhone notification ping plays.

    iPhone 11 with ringer set to max. Hard to tell when it goes off or if it’s other riffraff.
  • One request

    I am constantly forgetting to activate or deactivate Cureater when I’m respectively on or off a shift. Any way to set dates and times to automatically do this for us? And if not, any consideration for creating that option to improve the app?
  • Good app, but needs improvements

    Cureatr works okay for reading pages, and if you set it to repeat notifications shrilly 11 times in a row, you won’t miss any pages. Issues that I have had are: 1) there is not a compatible iPad app and 2) there is no CarPlay app. The iPad app would be a luxury, but I have missed pages in the car due to my phone notification not going off while plugged into CarPlay. It would be nice to at least know there is a notification so that I can decide to pull over and look at the message, instead of seeing 40 minutes later when I get home that I missed a STAT page. A read-aloud function would also be desirable, like in iMessage - not sure about HIPAA rules on that one, but like in iMessage, you can decline to have the message read aloud.

    Hello and thank you for your feedback! Cureatr can be downloaded on the iPad, however, you need to change the search results to look for iPhone apps. Applications that are compatible and work with CarPlay have been specifically written to do so. At this point in time, Cureatr has not been developed in that way. Finally, there is an option for the user to send you a voice note within Cureatr that can be played aloud, however, the read-aloud function is not a current feature.

    For a pager it’s a pain. Log in pass word domain.... just give me the number alert choices. It’s all a pain. So you responded with a thank you. BS you don’t even listen. U do t even use a pager. Listen to what we say and make it a user friendly system. If I wasn’t forced to use this U would cancel it.

  • Messsges disappear!!

    My messages are constantly disappearing. Every time I need to look back at previous messages they are gone. I use this for work and my text and schedule is constantly deleted. My other coworkers have the same problem as well. I do not recommend this app, it’s terrible.
  • Say goodbye to your clunky pager

    You won’t realize how liberating it is not to have to carry your clunky pager around until you are free of it. We are using a modified version of the app at our institution and have access to messages and accounts tab, however even without the other features like patient list etc...this app is a success.

    Suggestions to improve functionality:

    1) Please make it easier to callback a txt paged number by selecting the number from the message.

    This feature is available currently via long press but the function is unreliable. Sometimes when tapping on a phone number via long press the phone app is launched, other times the select text feature is launched. A quick tap on the number provides expanded message time delivery info, which frankly I don’t really need.

    I would suggest enabling a single tap on a phone number to dial via the phone app, similar to how the default Notes app works and letting long press function provide expanded message time delivery info instead.

  • Why do I have to keep login in for a message app

    App auto logs me out every few days if no activity. I end up missing messages from healthcare staff trying to reach me. If you want me to use this messaging app more (and encourage others to), make it easier to use.

    Great system
    Everyone in the hospital should be logged into this system.

  • It a viable app for work, but it’s lacking!

    If this app wasn’t something required from the organization I work for, it would not be the app of choice. Ever. I’ve missed multiple important messages due to the very quite and short jingle. It has a few to pick from but if something is sent as urgent there needs to be some sort of a long or non stop tone. Tone options are terrible. Can’t at all depend on this app.

Did you know that you can now set repeat reminders for your notifications (both for regular messages, as well as urgent messages)! Click on your account icon at the bottom of app and scroll down to see the options.
