Solid to do list

Great app. I just wish there was a way to categorize tasks into different folders.

Response from developer

You can do this by creating more lists or using our color tags 🤓 We recommend checking our Help Center for more details: https://support.any.do/en/collections/7048507-personal-lists-and-personal-tasks. You are also welcome to chat with our team under Settings - Support in your app to get more recommendations!

Gave a 1!

Gave a 1! cause thought it was free but needs to be billed monthly or so anyhow ok pricing. I really need a application for appointments and one for personal todos. Also can’t add to coming up stuff etc

Response from developer

90% of the app's core todo list features are completely free for as long and as much as you need, without any 3rd party ads or a requirement to upgrade 🤓

Bla blah

It is ver handy on keeping stuff organised

We appreciate the review! 😊

Am grateful for this app

The app does exactly what it says it does in the description, i would recommend. I was reading all the developers responses and just laughed at how people complained and how dumb they are lol. Who ever writes the developer responses seems like an smart funny person ngl

We appreciate the feedback! 💙 🤓

Amazing integration!

I used Any.do in my Samsung for years, then I switched to iPhone and found Any.do much useful too. Siri integration is pretty cool!
I liked the vidget style on samsung a bit more cause of any size adjustment. Overall amazing reminder App!

Response from developer

Thanks for sticking with us! We love hearing that you're back to enjoying the app after switching from Android to iOS 🤓 💙

Gone downhill

I have used this app daily since 2007, I think. After 15 years, I can honestly say it is no longer a simple and reliable tool for productivity. In the last year or so, approximately 1-5 times per month, the app freezes or crashes and has be deleted and reinstalled. When this first started, I pointed out the the constant freezing and crashing issue on the app, and they wanted me to somehow show them with the app was doing wrong, but it’s really hard to show that when it just happens out of the blue and all of a sudden crashes. That’s not something that can be easily recorded via video. I wasn’t interested in discontinuing use of the app for days while they take their time to look into the issue. It wasn’t until weeks after first reporting the bug that they finally admitted there was an issue… But mostly I just got a “thanks for your patience and we’ll look into it.” After all these years, I thought they would be willing to spend a smidge of their time investigating a known issue that they have a vested interest in correcting. I guess if you are not a premium user, they are not that interested in providing a reliable product.

Update: I do not believe that you don’t understand that this is an issue. Looking through these reviews there are lots of other people with the same complaints about the app freezing and crashing. Upon reloading, the subtasks disappear or are re-organized. There is a systemic problem, it’s not isolated to me.

We're sorry you feel this way! Our app has millions of active users worldwide and individual matters can take time to resolve as our team processes all requests by priority. Issues that affect only a single user may take time to resolve, however this does not mean that we will not do everything we can to provide a possible solution. In fact, when we thank users for their patience and tell them we're looking into it, that's when our Dev and QA Teams review the matter, investigate logs, try to reproduce the problem and take all possible actions to understand the issue. This takes a while as we work by priority but has nothing to do with your plan's status. As explained to you, your issue wasn't reproduced nor were we able to find any problem based on the partial information you provided. We understand taking screencasts can be difficult at times but when our team cannot pin point the matter it is crucial in order to keep our investigation going. As you did not wish to comply and since we have exhausted all efforts from our end without any luck of reproducing the same on a similar device we were unable to provide you with a solution. As mentioned several times already, we would be happy to continue investigating this matter for you should you cooperate with our Support Team. With regards to issues reported by other users, crashes and freezing may be due to various reasons. All known crashes have been resolved and the user have been informed accordingly so looking at old issues may not be relevant to your specific inquery. Also, without having the exact details of you problem in the form of a screencast we are unable to confirm if this matter is related to other reports or not. As stated several times already, if you choose to continue to cooperate with our team they will gladly continue their investigation into this matter.

Used to be good...

Used to be my go-to, but it's really fallen off recently. Notifications may or may not work, the calendar month glitches, and 50% of the events I create dissapear and need to be created again. Not something I will rely on anymore, as I have a hectic schedule and need reliable reminders.

Response from developer

We're so sorry for this! We are not aware of any issues with the calendar or notifications but would be more than happy to look into this for you :) If you can please send us more details via https://www.any.do/contact_form our team will gladly help resolve this matter!

Almost perfect!

This is the only task app that works for me, and I have tired PLENTY. The only thing missing for me right now is the ability to add a task to “My Day” with a single click or swipe or something while looking at the full list of apps. This would be so handy, other than that it’s so helpful to manage my day and the thousands of lists in my head

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback! You can add tasks to My Day by simply tapping to open and pressing 'add to My Day' :) We also recommend taking advantage of the Smart Suggestions menu to quickly add new items to My Day (https://support.any.do/en/articles/8610743-smart-suggestions). For assistance, feel free to reach out to our team at https://www.any.do/contact_form.

Going backwards

I’ve used this app for years and used to love it. But it’s since lost its integration with Alexa (which is the only reason I bought Alex, it worked great); and now constantly doesn’t sync with my Mac which is causing all sorts of issues with my organization and productivity costing me money and stress.

Response from developer

We cancelled our Alexa integration about 2 years ago due to inconsistent performance and after trying out best to work with the Amazon team is these issues with no luck. As we always strive to offer optimal performance, we have removed the feature for the time being though might consider re-adding it in the future should things change :) As to sync issues, we are unaware of any problems but our Support Team will be more than happy to look into this for you should you reach out via https://www.any.do/contact_form
