    I like it because you can see what appointments are available as well as which Drs are available. However not all the Drs show from my practice even though I have seen them there
    Also the times on the nurses call back need to be longer.....they ring for 10-15 seconds....it’s not enough time to get to the phone. I was in my kitchen ( open plan house) about 20 metres from my phone but I could not get to my phone to answer it. Then I phone the practise to see what’s happened to be told it will go to msg bank( not everybody has one) & it usually say phone & make an appointment!! Then I make a phone appointment at a set time & the Dr either doesn’t call or calls up to an hour after the appointment time

    Best app, not only is it easy to book your appointments but to also keep track of your medical records.
  • So convenient

    I have an 18 month old and this app has been a lifesaver to book appointments out of business hours. Even if it’s just for peace of mind ahead of time on the off chance his or my illness gets worse etc. My doctor books out quite quickly, so this booking system app is awesome to be prepared. I’ve never had it faulted where the appointments on here don’t align with the booking system within the practice. Which a lot of apps for booking appointments, whether medical or not, can be quite inconsistent and unreliable. You’ll get a call to say the system has double booked an appointment slot. Where as with Health Engine, I have never experienced this issue. I have easily booked through here over 20 times since our son was born a year and half ago.

  • Convenient & Helpful

    I love this app. I’ve just moved into a new area and this app makes it so easy to book all my Health appointments and link me in to local providers. I like the interface with my calendar and the SMS/Email updating
  • Love it...but, I wish for a few amendments

    Again, I Love it. Just wish I could change any manual appts made with the clinic on here, and that my GP clinic amended the settings on here, so I can select phone consult as all booked on here are considered as “in person” appts unless I call the GP to advise. It’s great otherwise as I can reschedule any appts (made on the app) and do it 24/7.

    If that wasn’t clear...as my GP clinic (Watervale medical centre) has NOT organized for settings in this app to be made for phone appts I can book or cancel an appt made on here, but still need to call the clinic to cancel any appt IF ITS A PHONE APPT and if I make an appt here and wish it to be a phone consult I have to CALL THE CLINIC to do so.
    It is quite difficult at times as they are only opened at limited times. (Obviously the app is available 24/7) If an appt was made without the app, it cannot be cancelled or changed on the app. Only apps made on the app (as long as they were not changed to phone consults or you need to call)

    It works most of the time for me, but it’s annoying to double handle appts but I think that is due to my GP not organizing any different with the App.

    Berowra Family Medical practice always treat their patients with compassion and care. We have been attending this clinic for 5 yrs now and even though we have left this area we still travel the 2 hrs for our appointments as I have complex medical issues which need consistent attention from a team of Drs and specialists who have become familiar with my ever changing health issues and conditions. Our GP Dr Soliman has formed a great team of specialists who continue to work as a team and together they work on keeping me safe and out of hospital which protects me in the long run.
    The admin staff treat us like friends and family which makes going to the Drs a more pleasant experience.

    It’s extremely easy to follow, it asks all the right questions and gives you multiple options when booking an appointment. It’s pretty self explanatory and quick to complete once you’ve registered for the first initial time and your information is stored.
    I love the freedom of booking my own appointments, and also for other family members all in one place.
    If only it was that easy for patients. That if by selecting to use the app app that it would miraculously reduce the amount of waiting time patients still seem to face upon arrival even with having booked an appointment in advance.
    The application is I believe if not already a success. So how about now focusing on implementing something that works with reducing patients expected waiting times. Patients coming in are already feeling under the weather and honestly would probably rather be at home. So when you’ve booked appointment in advance and it ends up turning into more of a waiting game, there’s nothing more painful than having to sit there on the waiting chairs under all those bright lights. Waiting times can often take in excess of what I’ve experienced in the past a two hour wait!
    This is what you guys need to improve on for the patients sake. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to voice my concerns and gratitude for your great app.

  • All Practices Should Use This App

    This App allows me to see what the availability is for all GPs in a Practice, allowing me to choose which time suits me most, rather than having a receptionist choose which options to present to me. I know my calendar better than they do. This lets me choose what works for me.
    The function that adds entries to my calendar needs a little polish, but on the whole it’s a great little app.
    I wish all healthcare providers used this App.
