  • Network and time out issues

    This app used to be great from a functionality perspective and ease of use. Of late, it times out and loses network connections and kicks the user out in the middle of performing tasks. Network connection and stability is good for all other apps so it is not a network issue at the phone level.
  • “Credit Card Activation” doesn’t work

    I received new credit cards from ENBD & tried to activate with App but when I tried to select option to activate card, it signed me off.
    I tried to re-install App again & again but same issue.
    I called even bank helpline, several times, but they suggested me to re-install App every time.

    App needs improvements.

  • Does not allow me to reset my password !

    The app does not have smooth features like the Liv. App for banking ! If emirates nbd and liv. Is same then they should hire the app developer from Liv. Banking app as it’s truely amazing to use it ! This app does not even allow me to register again if I forgot my password or want to create a new account ! It remembers my device and asked me to continue my application form where I don’t want to continue and open a new account through the app !

  • Too many updates

    I’m beginning to think ENBD has a data usage tie-up with local internet providers. Inevitably when I need to log on in an urgency, an upgrade is required usually with no change at all! The app is pretty much had the same functionality and flaws for over 4 years!
  • Frustrating frequent updates

    I don’t understand why the app needs to be updated so frequently. Almost one in five times I open the app it’s says update to proceed. It defeats the purpose of using app if it cannot be instant. I might as well taken same time to open laptop, login to my account than update app and use it. Is app updating just to collect customer data in name of updates?

  • Difficult to apply for smart pass

    Extremely difficult
    Once I click apply now it takes me to a page with all the tips on how to apply there is no other button to start applying

    Just to mention that after writing the reviewer when I tried submitting with a nick name which is asked by the bank it took me 28 attempts to find a nick name
    Good strategy by bank to discourage clients to write any reviews

  • Not user friendly

    I have had to reinstall this app several times in the past 6 months because is stopped working. After this last install and activating the smart pass associated with the app I found out that they bank will not allow certain transactions using the app for 24hrs for security reason. Smart pass the app that will soon be mandatory for all bank customers to use make mobile banking inconvenient for 24hrs. Thanks for the heads up EmiratesNBD. Oh and this 24hr hold also affects Online Nanking as well. The solution I was told to transfer the money I needed to transfer was to go to a branch or atm. That defeats the purpose of the convenience of mobile banking.

  • Forced download of app a real drag

    Choice is trusting your customers to decide if they want to download a new app on their phone or allowing them to opt out. Forcing customers to download an app to access their hard earned money is the quickest way to lose credibility and destroy a brand image. Emirates NBD went from having the. best online user experience to being a 4th rare company that I’m embarked to belong to. Just because you have the power to force yourself and your will on someone doesn’t mean you should. I’m so embarrassed to carry these cards and use this bank after being treated this way. Unfortunate our days together are numbered. Congratulations, I downloaded your stupid app!!!!

    Thank you for your feedback. In line with global best practices we have introduced Smart Pass which is a strong 2 factor authentication against SIM Swap & SMS vulnerabilities. Smart Pass is now mandatory and can be activated by downloading our mobile app. After smart pass activation you can choose to continue transacting using mobile app or desktop.   • Set location service to Always? Really?

    First of all you say bug fixes and UI improvements on your change history. No mention to location services. And you make it mandatory to share my location with you? Nah, I’ll pass. I prefer my privacy. Also fix more important stuff like the feedback section, it’s not working (says enter a valid email address, even though there’s already an address)
