Modifying Reservation Does Not Work
Update: The manager of the motel said, “I’ve had 4 people in last 2 weeks tell me they changed their dates on the app but it didn’t. I tell people to call a motel directly. Don’t use that app”.
On Sept 18 I made reservations for 2 nights (Oct. 9 - 11). On the same day, I had to modify my dates. I clicked on “Modify Reservations”, it took me to a window with the option to change dates. Once I did that, I noticed that the new/modified amount owing had also changed from 2 nights to 1 night. I was satisfied that I was able to change dates. Fast fwd to today, Oct.9/24, I opened the Choice Privileges app to double check the address and map. No date changed! My advice is to call the hotel itself to make any changes because this app won’t.

Not great
Add stay to calendar doesn’t work. Shows you a price then you click on it and it’s for non refundable non cancelation. Deceiving. It’s actually higher if you want to be able to change it. The 2 crappy motel choices in PEI are terribly overpriced. Add on tourist tax plus 18% PEI tax plus a pet fee. It’s ridiculous now. I hate the non refundable option.

After having a terrible experience at one of my stays , then on the phone I just want to make sure after talking to numerous representatives and being hung up on or disconnect over 7 times and spending over 2 and a half hours on the phone, the final representative that I spoke with ,Lexi, was absolutely wonderful. She not only allowed me to speak and explain the issue ,instead of reading off the standard responses, was considerate and concerned about what was going on. She gets 5 stars from me!!! She helped get my issue resolved as well as made sure I didn’t have any further issues in making my reservation. She even took the time to call the hotel for me! After multiple reps with terrible service, I want to make sure that the one great one I spoke with gets the recognition deserved! Lexi thank you again for all your help tonight. Just seeming like you cared about the situation meant a ton! Representatives like you are the reason I continue to use choice!!the others should pay attention to how you do your job !!! Thank you again

Tried to use the app but it won’t work with my up to date ipad and iPhone
I have used this app in the past but I go to use it now and it requires IOS 16.0. My iPad and IPhone are at the latest version of 15.8 … I’m not buying a new iPhone and/or iPad so I can use this damn app! I don’t have this problem with other apps!

C’est dommage que cette application n’offre pas de version française pour les gens du Québec. Heureusement que je suis bilingue! Mais ce ne pas le cas de toute la clientèle québécoise…

Super ravi de cumuler des points durant mes nuits de déplacement pour le travail mais quand est-ce que avec le choix des unités en kilomètres et de degrés Celsius on pourra choisir le français.

iPad vs iPhone
Great app, easy to search and book hotels. Up until about 6 months ago I could add reservations to my calendar using the iPad app, although I can add using the app on the phone. So now I make reservations in my iPad then go to the phone to add them to my calendar. It’s a good work around but a bit of a pain if we are travelling in the US without our phones.
