Buggy as of Jan 23
The app is very buggy as it won’t let me use my fund due to over the limit. When I review the transitions o am under the limit. When I try to upgrade my account by linking my BPI and doing a cash in, it doesn’t allow me to do a cash in even though I’ve successfully logged in using BPI. I haven’t had access to my fund in 4 days!
Customer service is slow to respond and when they respond is not helpful or they don’t reply/read my entire message and only reply to pieces of it.

Not happy at all
At first I thought GCash Australia app is good and reliable. But since December 2023 I started experiencing issues about not receiving OTP to enable me to log in to the app and access my account. I contacted the support but up to this stage they can't find the reason why I am not receiving any OTP. I am using Iphone 12 Pro with IOS 17.2.1. I have done all their instructions of redownloading the app, updating the app and my phone but still until now I still cant access the account. So not happy at all. Lucky I don't have funds stock in my gcash account but i know someone does and same issue, the person also experiencing not receiving any OTP to enable for that person to access the account too. So sad.

Not functional
I’ve tried using the GCash app but I can’t verify. Verification would not be a problem if I could get some help. The only help is the suggestion to try again. So I moved to another wallet.

Unskippable tutorials (happens every time you’re forced to sign in) - annoying.
Constant damned adverts - very poor.
Hardly ever works after an ‘essential’ update! - unforgivable.
For a finance app to be be unusable for a period every 5 or 6 weeks is shockingly bad. The moment Revolut or Apple Pay is widely accepted in the Philippines I will never use this poor, annoying, shockingly bad app again.

Stop sending Singlife texts
Stop sending advert texts! Fix the favourite contacts, why do they always get un’favourite’d? Too cumbersome log in, Why does the app always ask authentication?
Unskippable tutorials
The app is good but can be improved.
One thing to work on is the unskippable and repeating tutorials. Given that the tutorial pops up everytime you get logged out, it would be great to be able to skip or just stop it entirely. It keeps us from getting what we need done quickly.

Not allowing me to enter my account
I use the same phone number i always use but suddenly it did not allow me in i have tried multiple times i hope gcash will fix this issue because im trying to buy something and i cant get into my account i am gonna report this issue gcash fix this problem what kind of security is this what if someone has hundreds of thousands in their account and one day it’s not allowing them to enter unless you want to get sued by someone fix the issue .

The verification process takes too long! Very poor app! To think that youre doing money transactions!
3 support tickets and still can’t use the app
Terribly designed app and useless customer support. It’s been 2 weeks and submitted 3 support tickets and tried 2 times to get verified and still nothing. They close the support tickets without seeming to even read any part of it.
