Love the tree and lights, hate the fact that I can't play my bought music from iTunes
I would love to give the app 5 stars; however, I'm not a fan of the 8 songs that comes with the app as it will get old very quickly. The fact that I can't play any DRM based music is insane, especially the music that I have paid for in the past. The solution that I was given to resolve the issue is to put a Bluetooth speaker underneath the tree in order to play my music. I got a great solution for the manufacturer pay whatever fee the RIAA wants and quit inconveniencing the customers, heck I'm willing to pay it myself to get this working the way it should be.Show lessmichaelreyes
I twinkle app
Works great on iPhone. Does not work well on iPad. We are only able to get a partial program download. Have not decorated tree yet. Am considering returning it since I am the one with the smartphone and if I'm not home there is very limited function available. Okay if you like pink and light blue I guess.Show lessScubagram
Great product but lacking some basics
We are enjoying our itwinkle tree very much! My kids love the lights and how it can twinkle along to our music. It does need two basic improvements:
1. It should be able to remember your last setting. Every time we turn it on we have to spend 5-10 minutes playing with the app to get it back to the settings we like.
2. It should have a basic random colored lights setting. No blinking. And then if you want them to blink you should be able to easily turn that on and off- without having to change colors or screens on the app.Show lessThixon1
Slow it down
Needs a speed option everything's too fast sooner or later it'll probably give someone a heart attack btw glad you guys got rid of some products you didnt even sellItwinkle Owner
BEWARE: Needs an Overhaul
Don't buy this product. It only allows 2 or 3 sets of lights to be controlled on one iphone device. You will need multiple devices for multiple strings of lights and even at that, they are not synced together. The concept is great but the app really needs attention. When opened you have to select the itwinkle accessory you are using every time. Should be able to select/change dashboard view. Needs to allow adding multiple strings of lights and should be named differently. You can't differentiate what the Bluetooth is finding because they are all named the same. String lights need more pre-set patterns. Ability to turn specific sets in or off too would be a good option. Hopefully the developers respond to this as updates have been scarce and this could be so much better.Show lessSnakemeister12345
Like an update
I would like it if we were able to lock our iPhone/iPod screen (screen off) while the app is running to avoid quickly draining the battery of our iPhone/iPad while the app is running 4 many hours a niteCanada line
