  • Alarm went off for 1 hr and 25 mins ... no one was notified

    We had a break in tonight and the alarm sounded and no one was notified. I was told by the protection 1 that it was our fault since the system had issues with connecting to the server. They said they called a few days earlier but when they repeated the number on file ... it was a completely different number. Cool. We had $$$, register and our iPads ... stolen. If it wasn’t for our good neighbors calling us in advance ... it could have been worse.

    Thanks but no thanks. We will be discontinuing our service for both locations.

    I am pleased with this app. It is easy to understand and use.
  • Service

    I have issues with my system at least 5-8 times a month. I can’t arm or disarm from my phone a 6F or bF keeps showing up. My communion does not work from my panel.i am so tired of E secure or ADT I am looking at other protection services to get my money’s worth, if someone decides to kick in my door you all don’t get a signal. I left earlier the side door was open and the alarm went off I received a call to make sure everything was on it was working I come back 2 hours later no communication. I am just tired of calling every week.

    My cameras don’t work and I paid over $2,000 to upgrade and it’s terrible! Customer service is quick to suggest an upgrade but no solutions for my non working system.
  • iPhone XS Max issues

    Please have a look at fixing the GUI for the new Xs Max. I can not attach a screen shot so the best explanation I can give is the labels are under the icons within the app and the spacing is way off.

    Sometimes the app does not arm and many times it is very slow.
  • Needs tweaking

    Overall not bad but have had a couple of small minor issues with the mobile app. When I choose my sensor events on the mobile app, they do not show up on the security card like they’re supposed to, as they do on the desktop version. Would be really nice to have that corrected!
  • Love Protection One. 20+ years

    Whenever I need to contact them they’re always great. Service techs totally professional, knowledgeable and cool. We wouldn’t leave them for 75% discount.
  • No help from support

    App went down and would not accept password nor change password so I changed it online as prescribed and it still didn’t work. My guess is not enough people use the app so they are letting it die... I’ll be switching service as soon as my contract is up. A company called S something safe has great service and an app too... one three support... Honeywell, ADT are too big for their own good.
  • Recurring fail

    The cameras keep going offline, all of them, every few weeks for no reason Protection 1 can explain. I don’t usually notice it until I’m traveling, which is when I need the coverage most. Getting them back online involves ladders, either two people or a lot of running back and forth, and usually a visit from a tech.
