  • BUYER BEWARE

    I’ve ordered from this app in the past and was happy with my purchases. Something must’ve changed. I placed three orders in the beginning of February with an estimated shipping date of March 4. The orders still said “processing “ at that time. I emailed them and got the same canned response that they would contact the seller. Nothing about when I could expect my order or even offering a refund. I had to email them a second time after not hearing anything further and requested cancellation and a refund. They still did not offer a refund. I wound up calling my credit card company to dispute. Now apparently I’ve been booted off the app because it won’t let me sign in. This is just the most horrible experience I’ve had dealing with a company. The items look nice, but don’t expect to actually receive them.
  • Horrible customer Service, Scam

    I unfortunately ordered from Wanelo and immediately there was a red flag AFTER I checked out that my purchase would be delivered the very next day. I reached out to Wanelo via email and was told “they would contact the seller and keep me updated.” 5 days later I still had not heard anything and my order still said “processing” so I reached out again via email and was told again, they would reach out to the seller and keep me updated. Another few days go by and still no update, my order is still “processing,” so I call Wanelo and am told the supervisor will send me an email looking into this within 24 hours. 24 hours later I get the same story from the “supervisor” that they will reach out to the seller and keep me posted. 2 weeks later and here I am, $120 GONE and now Wanelo will not respond to emails or the voicemail I have left and you surprisingly can call at any hour of the day and never speak to anyone on the phone. Do not recommend, will delete this app and tell all my friends to do it as well!

  • Shipping + sweatshops

    Always expect shipping times to be 3-4 weeks later then the estimated shipping time (which is already close to 3-4 weeks). Product either never shows up, is delivered 5 months later once you’ve given up hope, or is not the product ordered. Not worth the time, money, nor anticipation to receive nothing or a random product that you could have purchased from a dollar store. Also, terrible customer service and never guaranteed a refund even when there is a guaranteed purchase/refund verification on an item.
    I try to only buy from sellers that I can confirm aren’t sweatshops but the app is overflown with disguised sweatshop sellers so also be aware of that- do not endorse them!!
  • Once Great, Now Full of Cheap Garbage

    I used to use this platform ALL THE TIME in high school to find trending items to buy. Now they have disabled the user’s ability to link their own finds, and the website is full of cheap knock-off garbage from China. Seriously, their add on does not work on chrome and has not worked for the past few years. Your only option is purchasing through Wanelo, but if your package gets lots tough luck because it’s not technically their fault! And there is no way to contact the seller, just trust them, they’ll try to find it for you ;) If you make an account, you’ll gain tons of fake followers advertising their porn or scam website. Please avoid, this app died years ago.
  • Don’t buy from this app!!!!

    I used to buy stuff all the time on this app and I was always super happy. I ordered something 3 months ago never even got a confirmation email, I waited and wait and nothing. Finally I reached out to my bank and disputed the charges for never receiving my items. They sent me back an email saying most disputes end in Wanelos favor. LOL. Like that’s your response? Not let me resolve the issue and see where your item is? Then a week later they give me a tracking number (this has been 3 weeks ago) and the tracking number is FAKE! It hasn’t changed from the last time they sent it. Last but not least I click on my wanelo app and it’s weirdly logged me out. I go to sign it and my email and password no longer work. Weird huh? DO NOT BUY FROM THIS APP!!!

    I have made the mistake of ordering from this app multiple times. I was hopeful that each disappointing experience was an isolated incident but in reality this is just a horrible quality app that no one should ever use to shop online. The orders I have placed in the past take months to ship if they ever ship at all. The app boasts great customer service and assures users that all you have to do to get assistance from their team is send an email to their customer support address. They are not monitored or read. There is also an 800 number listed on the app. It says “call cannot be completed as dialed” when you try to call it. The developers of this app are thieves and misrepresent everything the app is advertised as being. Do not download or use this app for any reason at all.
  • Scam! Awful company

    This is the worse company ever. They are a scam. Their customer service is horrible. They have no control over the buying process. I bought something and never got a order confirmation or shipping confirmation. When the date they estimated it would arrive passed without received confirmation of the order I disputed the charge with my bank since they never responded to my 5 emails regarding my order and their phone number just redirects you to use email to contact them. Then they send me a threatening email saying I was committing fraud and suspended my account permanently and threatened to charge me an additional fee if they won the dispute. All I wanted was a purse. This company is terribly mismanaged and you should never use them.

    i have reached out several times about information regarding my order. I understand covid-19 has impacted a lot of shipping and businesses, however it its becoming increasingly frustrating that no one will contact me back, i was told once that i would get an update in 72 hours and that was almost 2 weeks ago. If i could i would just cancel my order but due to their policy i cannot. i understand you guys are “doing everything you can”, and i like wanelo, and i want to remain a customer but how can i trust in a company if i cannot even receive an email with my updated shipping information? even if its going to take another month; i dont care about that. its the principle that i have been completely ignored. Its very disheartening to be honest.
  • THEY STEAL MONEY DO NOT BUY

    DO NOT GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION TO WANELO THEY WILL STEAL FROM YOU!!! I’ve used wanelo for years (since 2013) because I just like to save items I think are cute. Well I finally decided to buy something in January 2020 and they send me SUPER fake shoes, nothing like what was pictured and when I return, stole my $50 and dodged all my messages and attempt to get my money back. Very disappointed in them I emailed multiple times and now they just totally stop responding. Dead air anytime I try to have wanelo staff or customer support help me. Never shopping here again BUYER BEWARE WANELO STEALS MONEY FROM ITS CUSTOMERS AND THEY LET THEIR SELLERS SELL FAKE ITEMS AND RUN TRAIN ON CUSTOMERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • UPDATE REQUESTS!! 😊

    First off, I love the Wanelo app. It spend so much time zoning out and saving things, and I’ve even bought a few items. That being said, from a customer standpoint, I think it could stand a few changes to make more enjoyable.
    -Lately I haven’t been able to upload items from my browser. Maybe a bug?
    -I wish that there was a way to alphabetically categorize lists or customize the order of the lists, instead them being ordered by whatever was added most recently.
    -I want to be able to change the “Things I want as Gifts” name
    -The home page could be better. I never find anything I like in “Magic”, so it would be nice if My Feed was what was automatically on the main page
    -It would be nice if My Feed looked more like Magic, just with posts from people I’m actually following.
    Again, I love this app and I spend so much time on it. These are just a few things that I personally think would make it a little more enjoyable.
