Crashes right after starting
The app crashes within a few seconds of starting. Since I checked in with Avianca, this was the only way to have my boarding passes on the phone in a format different than pdf.Bartek W

This app is beyond useless. I can’t check in or see my flights. Anything I click is just opens up a browser and sends me to the avianca website. What is the point of having an app if you’re just going to send me to the avianca website to do any of the functions I need.jazzyyazzy6
Worst airline app ever
This app is very poor. As an app itself, it does practically nothing. Any action you want to take – check-in, assign seats, buy service - is actually done on the website in a pop-up window, rather than in the app itsel. You might as well just go to the website.
In addition, there is no means to sign into the app. You add your info (confirmation number and surname) and it is added to your flights. While that does simplify things, it also means that either you can’t sign into different accounts or that if someone else wants to use the app on your device, they can’t or their information won’t be private. I also don’t see a means to add payment methods, either in the website or in the app.
Moreover, there does not seem to be a location for you to pull up your boarding pass, a basic function, it seems.
Plenty of other complaints, but the long and short of it is that this app is worse than useless because you spend a lot of time trying to do things and then find out you can’t, at least not easily.

The prices are ridiculous! Why would sell your flights DIRECTLY for way more than you can buy them from a third party? Also, there is always a mismatch between the prices they say they will start at and the actual prices below. How this app gets such a high score is mind boggling. I suspect trickery. The app has improved a lot.
I enjoy using the app. With all the changes in aviation since the pandemic, this is a welcome change from Avianca ( Lifemiles ) . I used to fly with these Avianca a lot. They need work a little bit more with there partners to deliver more routes. Especially popular routes. Good move forward , hope to see the app routes improve!
