Clarity at last
After trying nearly 10 brands of puppy food, this test alerted me to sensitivities to many common ingredients that were not on my radar as allergens like chickpeas, peas, corn. I had been focused on changing proteins with no avail. Turns out my pup reacted to many different meats as well but now we at least have some guidance on what might work for him!

Disappointed
According to these tests I am allergic to or have strong reactions to almost everything. I have no allergies. In order to gain any more information or explanation for the information given, you need to spend more money. It turns out to be a service to help you spend money. I am very disappointed!
User friendly & helps me keep my gut healthy!
The app is soo easy to navigate. I can check my results at anytime straight from my phone! It’s such a great reference tool when I’m at the grocery store. They even have definitions of items they test so I can cross reference with ingredient labels!

Amazing customer service
My dog has been suffering from allergies and I accidentally ordered the wrong allergy test, Destiny was amazing, she helped get everything sorted and the correct allergy test ordered. Their customer service made the whole process stress free from start to finish!
Milk allergy
I finally found out that I’m allergic to Milk and Chocolate and Broccoli. Good on broccoli but Chocolate. Nooooo

Very useful
This is a great resource for anyone with a dog (or cat) that's a picky eater or with health issues. My best friend has used this, and pointed it to me. We make our own food for our dogs. They are Maltese and have specific needs. Absolutely love that we can tailor our recipes to what we need.
Best Customer Service
5Strands has such amazing customer service. I was silly and didn’t fully follow instructions and didn’t have my unique ID to register my kit. Destiny helped me out and went the extra mile to contact their mail team and stay in contact with me to help resolve the issue and help me get my kit registered! She was so so kind and helpful! Destiny (and probably the rest of the customers service team) needs a big raise and an extra paid day off 🤍

Destiny went above and beyond to help me before a holiday! I ordered the wrong test by mistake & she along with her team helped me get it rectified and even put a rush on the results so I could get them the same day! That is great customer service! I am so thankful for this company! They have saved me literally hundreds of dollars in vet bills by knowing exactly what was causing my puppy allergic reactions. So he is not suffering anymore with itchy, red skin. Thank you 5Strands!! You have a customer for life!!

I like that the test is easy to read. I wish there was a way to scan the bar codes of foods to help find what is ok for our puppy. He has so many red things and it takes so long to look through and Know what he is able to eat.
Issue logging in
I’m having trouble logging into the app. It will not go past the email screen.
Excellent Service
I was surprised at how painless it was. My vet told me the test would be 600.00 and we would have to do everything. I spent roughly 130.00 and received food and environmental allergies. Thank you 5Strands!
