Insightful and Focuses on what really matters to ME

Alter me is great because it’s focused on my biology and my needs rather than some prescriptive set of tasks and calories to follow that may not suit my body at all and I found that I am calmer and I feel physically better since following the app and the recipes are actually quite nice. I already feel better and know that I am actually treating my body in a way that suits my “build”. It’s a little expensive, but I FINALLY have ANSWERS to questions I’ve had all my life.

Be careful what package you sign up for. READ THE FINE PRINT.

I think the ring is okay thus far. However, I’m still upset that it wasn’t fully disclosed at the beginning of signing on the dotted line that one of the packages isn’t refundable because it’s a comprehensive DNA assessment AND it’s really expensive. I feel slightly bamboozled.

Also, the app uses AI which I’m not a fan of either.

Looking for better data

Lots of things could help me with planning my day better but the stress chart doesn’t show up well for times. It doesn’t show historical data. The data is pretty limited and it doesn’t really feel like it does much more than other less expensive items available.

App is glitchy with bugs

Worked for about 2-3 weeks and went downhill. I got this with the ring included. Everything was fine, then the app really started to slow down and would freeze constantly. Then it started not tracking anything at all. I have power-cycled my ring, did a factory reset, connected and disconnected it from the app and no progress. And I know it’s tracking something because when I do workouts, it’s able to sense my pulse, but I can get any sleep data or steps data which is exactly why I got the program. Also with the meals, you tell it’s you don’t want certain foods included and it still recommends me that stuff even though I’m allergic. If I could get my money back, I would.

The New Me

Starting Alter, I never thought I’d be able to find information about my overall health with begging my doctors or going to see a personal trainer. This allows me to find nutrition and exercise that is absolutely tailored to me and I am finally making progress of weight loss, learning more about nutrition and my own nutritional needs, and feeling stronger. Taking this leap to start this program has made me fall in love with exercise again and moving towards a healthier me.
