Firmware update bricked my power meter
Installed the app so that I could update the firmware. Aside from the fact that I needed to tell them my date of birth just to open the app, all went smoothly. Until, that is, I connected to the power meter and tried to update the firmware - it failed part way through and now my power meter is dead - it won’t connect to any device and isn’t discoverable in this or any other app. Avoid the app like the plague.Show lessShmibble

App still doesn’t work with Ant+ cadence and power output after doing so in the past. Software developers seem to have disappeared.Mickforscience

Still no update for IOS. Android has 2.4.0 version. And when performing zero offset, every time getting error notification. And it looks like there is a lot off issues with crank powermeter.EM125690

Won’t work without a mandatory account and location tracking.
Privacy is important - if there’s no way to use it without tracking then it’s being returned to the store. Why does it need an account for local use?AussieDoc
Worst app ever
Thankfully did not have to use the app in over a year. This app has not got any better, provides zero feedback, and just leaves you incredibly frustrated. Tha app is not useful at all which is a shame for such expensive hardware. This is really a zero star rating.better blind than 4iiii's
App now won’t open
Apart from the issue of only being able to have one power meter associated with the app at a time (I have 2 bikes each with a 4iii power meter) the app used to work - now won’t open. Have uninstalled and reinstalled but still won’t open - not very impressive- can’t calibrate or update firmware - please fix!Show lessbigbjmunro

Flawed workout mode
Fine for pairing my cadence sensor with HR strap, but the data fields are wrong in the recording part. Time shows bpm, heart rate show rpm and cadence shows nothing!! Very confusing.Mikethecyclist
