  • ???

Can't download a file bigger than 30MB, No file sharing links, email or otherwise and no ability to view, listen, watch or preview any file unless of course it's at the 30MB size limit in which you must download it first. SMH
  • Was working, now can't log in

Can't get past the log in screen on iPhone or iPad. Was working up until the last week or so. Now the app is useless.
  • Clunky

I love the idea of this: being able to access ALL my files from my computer on my phone as opposed to the select files I add on Dropbox. However, the app just doesn't cut it.

It won't let you download files larger than 30mb?! From a user so used to using Dropbox, it will take major upgrading for me to think about using this as my main option.

  • Very limiting

I love backblaze, but the app is terrible. If you try to recover more than 10 or so files you'll be locked out of your own account! Also, there are no thumbnails for backed up images, making it impossible to find the image I want to download to my phone. I have to try a few images at random to find the one I want, and if I download too many I get locked out for 24 hours!! Seriously?? Simply useless.

  • Works well, give access to all my backed up files

I like the touch ID support for login. Encryption key isn't stored between the session, so has to be entered every time. User interface in delete of downloaded files a bit broken but useable (at least on an iPhone 6s Plus
  • Got my file, but basic app

I achieved my goal ... I retrieved a particular file I needed from my backup to my iPhone. That being said I understand the other negative reviews of this app. The search function is not obvious to find (ironic) and the first time I tried to search the app crashed. The second time I tried it didn't find the file. So I went more primitive and clicked through the file tree and manually scrolled looking for the file. I did find it, so five stars for satisfying my need but one star for having a tremendously clunky app.

  • Could be useful if ...

This app is almost useless for me, as I generally work with files greater than 30mb. There should be a custom threshold for mobile data as well as unrestricted file sizes while connected to WiFi. I'm currently traveling and left my computer at home, to try to keep my load a little lighter, but I've been gone about a month longer than anticipated and it would be of great help to access some of my larger files. With this app, it flat out isn't an option, and it should be. It's my data, my data plan, and I pay for the service; I should be able to access my data in whatever way is best for me, within reasonable limits of course.

  • Backblaze is awesome, this app is bad

I love BackBlaze and have great things to say about their service. It's this app that that doesn't meet expectations.
    To wit;
    1. Crashes inexplicably.
    2. When you enable 2fa, it does not support it but allows you to login (before it crashes) to see your backup data.
It does offer to use your Touch ID instead of your password. I wasn't able to test downloading any data because I could never get the app to not crash to do a download.

  • Much improved

I had a lot of complaints with the previous version of this app, but this update fixes all of those. It is now the app I hoped it would be when I first got it. It has been updated for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, including landscape mode, and the file browsing is much easier. Swipe to go back now works, and it remembers your scroll location when you go back a directory. I'm really pleased with this update.

  • Could easily do more

This does seem to allow downloads of backed up files, but it would be far handier to be able to verify backups were ongoing as intended, it stating when last complete backup was done, or advising how many more mb/files needed to be uploaded.
