Fast to use

Easy and fast to use… nothing close to the competition 😉

Needs to remember your credit card number.

Extremely poorly designed app

I needed know the various hotel bookings I had. The app is useless for this. I ended up using Hiltons website to find them, very easily.

The app however is useless for finding and reviewing multiple bookings. Very poor interface design, for what is the number one use case for the app.

For a world wide brand Hilton need to fix this serious flaw.

One of the best apps ever made

I’m happy to see this app at almost a perfect 5 stars for reviews. This is one of the best apps ever made. It has a really good user interface and every possible feature a customer of Hilton or any hotel could ever want. Easy and logical to navigate, tons of features.

Congratulations and big thanks to the developers. You have set a standard, and I wish all apps were this good.

Slidden hotel, Stockholm

I’ve just spent 4nights at the slussen and the standard has been as high as ever. The front line staff were all exceptional. Peter and all his team are always ( I’ve been staying there 4times a year since 2010 ) helpful for me to get my family’s favourite corner room. The staff in the breakfast room are also worth a mention. Vivienne is especially helpful and efficient. Always a pleasure staying there. Back in November!

Hilton App

The Hilton Honors app is incredibly easy to use and convenient. Everything works perfectly, just as described, making booking, check-ins, and accessing exclusive perks seamless. It’s a flawless companion for travelers, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience every time!

Too many bugs and issues

I’m a gold member of Hilton, every single time I book a stay those stays do not show up in the app. When I try to add them with the confirmation number I get an error that something went wrong. When I try to use the chat to add the stay, it also can’t find it. Every time I have to contact the support team to manually add the stay. Then I get offered PAID upgrades on rooms confusingly for things I already have included in my reservation (breakfast, better view). I also get messaged from the app, log in and find no new messages and the app complaining I need to turn on notifications that are already on.

Please get these fixed Hilton.

An ok app

2024-08: I will write more update as I go travel more later

Digital key is a shortfall as it is not available real-time. What if someone trust the app so much that request only digital key?

Receptionalist comment that I can have both keys: first the physical and then download the digital key. Nah did not work that way.

Checkout on physical counter did not sync up with the app real-time. Operational data basically not available real-time.

Useless

I can log onto my account on the Hilton website, however, for a couple of days now, I get this message when trying to log into this app:
“ That was unexpected.
Sorry for the interruption. Let's try that again.”

App is unusable!

This app used to be great! Not so much anymore.

I’ve been using this app for a long time. I’ve never had any issues with it before a few months ago. I have a reservation that does not show up in my app. I type in the reservation number and it says to call customer service. I reached out to customer service who told me there was an issue and to come back the next day. I told them this reservation has not been showing up for several months. The customer service rep stopped responding to my chat after I pointed that out and asked why if this is a new problem, why hasn’t it been working for weeks to months? The app also tells me that it can’t load rates when I try to make a new reservation, which makes the app totally useless.

If I log into my account using a computer, my reservation is there. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it to see if that would fix it. It did not. I’ve tried clearing the cache to see if that did anything. I’ve tried turning my phone off and letting it sit. That didn’t work. At this point, I’m moving all my hotel reservations to the Bonvoy app until this can be fixed.

I’m also not going to continue to contact Hilton customer service anymore. They will just lose customers at this point. They know they have a problem and seem to be ignoring it.
