Great hotels, buggy app
The apps has some annoying flaws. I have to force close the app and re-open it whenever I want to unlock the door or it doesn’t find the lock. The checkout functionality doesn’t work for me, even after it notified me that checkout was available. It also doesn’t let you request items or services from the hotel like the Marriott app does.

Hilton points not worth it unless you are a frequent traveller
The room rates change when you use your points to pay for it, you can’t combine other rates when using points to pay, the rooms assigned to those who use their points to pay for a room are different and the rate at which you collect points (x amount of dollars per point) is not equal to that same dollar value when you use your points to pay for a room. So basically dollar per point you are paying more. Not worth it.

Used to be a great app!
For the last few months this app has been a problem! It used to be excellent but it seems the programmers have been "adapting it" and it's now frequently dying while being used! Its annoying to be half way through a search or looking at hotels, only to have it close down over and over again! (Using iPhone or iPad mini).

Can’t login
I get an error saying there’s an issue and they don’t know what happened. Support says there’s an ongoing issue and they’re working on it and next says that I should bother the staff at my hotel to fix a problem that they are working to fix ?

Hilton honours quality depends on the country!!
In Paris it was terrible, as old and crappy as you can imagine, 1 star! But in Quebec it’s really nice and comfy, a real 4 to 5 star! So I give it and in between rank

Has Flaws
I had two rooms booked with points and needed to cancel. I was immediately refunded for one room but not the other. I called the Hilton Diamond hotline and was told there was an issue with their system and had to wait a couple of days. I received my points a couple days later and I rebooked, not an issue. Several weeks later I booked another room with my remaining points. I needed to change the reservation to another day but couldn’t due to their system limitations. I needed to cancel and rebook. After canceling, I once again had an issue with points getting refunded. I called the Hilton Diamond hotline and was told that they do not owe me any points back because it was already returned. I told them that my balance was only 10,000 points and was due a refund of 37,000 points. She said that their system is flawed and couldn’t really see anything that would show that they owed me points. I’m not really good in math but getting refunded 37,000 and only having a balance of 10,000 doesn’t add up. She offered me 15,000 points for the inconvenience and for my loyalty since 2001. I kindly declined and cancelled 16 reservations, worth thousands of dollars. 37,000 points is probably worth $250 to them, however they lost thousands of dollars in revenue and a Diamond member over a ‘flaw in their system’.
