Like most punters, I don’t know the ins and outs of Fiji’s airports so make the assumption that if those are the options then obviously Qantas flies there. Otherwise why show it?
So pick one at random, plug in the dates and…wait for the booking engine to fall over. Turns out they don’t fly there at all! So why on earth is it even an option! Madness.
Pick another one (50/50 chance now) and…same issue 😂. At least now, 10 minutes I’m down to one guess. Third time lunch, and finally get some flights (it’s Nadi btw, which isn’t even the top result on the list!).
Now for Vanuatu and, guess what, same thing. Two options, only one of which they fly to, and it’s second on the list!
Like seriously, how have you got the option to book flights that don’t exist in the search function? Feels somewhat basic to me

Doesn’t accept TSA Precheck number

Hi Sorry for the delay in response. This will be fixed in the next App release, so please have a look in the next update. You should be able have alphanumeric entries upto 10 character long in line with the TSA defined format. If you still have issues, can you send more details to mobileappsupport@qantas.com.au so we can investigate Thank you
App doesn’t work for seats and upgrades
The best feature of the app though, is when it updates to say you’re boarding you can’t access the boarding pass for a good 3 mins so you end up standing to the side and wishing you’d got a paper one like 10 years ago.

Hi, we apologize for this. Please send us your concern at mobileappsupport@qantas.com.au along with the screenshot if the if you are still getting the error. We did fix this earlier this week. This will be handled with utmost priority.
Broken app, broken website

Hi, Thankyou for your email and apologies for the delay in responding. We have since made updates to the Qantas app which should have resolved your flight search issues. Could you try updating to the latest version of the app? If you are experiencing further issues, please send an email to mobileappsupport@qantas.com.au so we can investigate further. In the meantime - are you able to search for flights via a desktop/laptop device?
Generally a bad online experience
Often denies that routes exist which Qantas actually flies (ie Melbourne - NYC) and the prices are ALWAYS always higher than can be found on other sites. You can’t fly to a city - you have to choose a specific airport. But like in London, NYC or others - multiple airports exist and every other site allows for searches to the city.
Bad app, more generally out of date online setup.
