  • Convenient

Very convenient app, they should change the online pay to unlimited instead of only a certain number of times you can pay online which is frustrating if you have no means of transportation
  • Worst Company Ever

Georgia Power is a crooked company and charge way too much for an electric bill in this economy. Purposely raising the price per therm or what have you, just to make a buck off people who can barely rent. If they truly cared about and valued their customers, this company would find a way to reduce costs and help people. Everyone is struggling. How can a household with infants, sick people, disabled, elderly, or with pets survive in the south in the summer when agents recommend your thermostat to be set at 78 degrees Fahrenheit to conserve energy and save money? In Georgia? Please tell me how.

  • server down

1/2 the time i need to make a payment i get an “unexpected error” “server down” pop up that prevents getting the power back on for hours. i even went to the Dollar General and scanned the barcode and made a payment through them and that still hasn’t come through, i was able to log in to the app make the payment after waiting hours before the payment i made using the barcode has been applied to the account! if Georgia Power wasn’t costing us all so much money to keep the lights on then maybe we could afford auto pay but we have to prioritize food, outrageous gas prices and pay little by little on the power the least Georgia power can do is make sure that payments can be made through the app and applied within a reasonable amount of time

  • It’s much easier with the app!

Years ago I’d pay all my bills by writing a check and sending by mail. If I forgot to buy stamps, my only option was to pay in person at Georgia Power on Broughton Street, standing in line with all the other people who waited until the last minute to pay their bill. Other locations that would accept payment became available, but the option to pay with a debit or credit card over the phone I loved it when one could pay over the phone, even though talking to a robot was frustrating. Smart phones brought access to paying online by going to the website, but I always had to search old emails to find the website because it wasn’t easy to remember the website address. That’s why I love this app. It’s so quick and easy to pay the bill after you set up your payment information.

  • App issues

The Georgia Power App has been working great up until just recently. I have pay as you go setup and have been paying that way for years, so I’m always checking my balance on the app. I love being able to see my daily usage and can pay quickly, but lately, the app has been having technical issues. I can’t see my balance or do anything else. It just says balance $0.00 and to check back later. I have been able to logon the old way and pay, but I’m so accustomed to the app now! What should I do? This has been going on for a couple of weeks now!

  • Auto Pay

Not displaying the bank accounts that is already setup in my online account before. Asking every time to add new bank account instead showing option to select one that’s already in your login.
  • Terrible app

This app is the absolute worse! I’ve been trying to use Apple Pay like I’ve used in the past and it just always says “error try again later”. Always glitchy, app always closes down on you, buttons don’t work, the app just doesn’t work in general. With it being such a big company and you can’t get the right people to fix this stupid app is ridiculous. I wish I wasn’t forced to use GApower because I would NEVER choose it.

  • Apple Pay offered but doesn’t work

I was paying my bill using Apple Pay so I could get the credit card points and over the last couple of months it doesn’t work. I just get an error message every time. I called Georgia Power customer service and they had no suggestions. Just tried it again and it still doesn’t work for me. I have also tried on a computer and an iPad with no success.

  • This update was needed

Way more user friendly then the last one I don’t like the fact you can’t do debt card payments on it but that issue only comes to people who only use debit cards
