  • Saves me from the frustration of days of research

I absolutely adore the 'Browse for me' feature! I have spent months researching (without final resolution) numerous topics prior to using this browser. Its search engine has answered all of my prior questions within seconds in an intelligent manner, actually paying attention to nuance in my query. Every other AI that I have tried returns highly available and accessible information that doesn't answer the question asked. I can't wait to get the desktop (Windows) version of this browser!
  • Arc Search rules

I’ve been using Arc Search since day 1 as well as Arc Browser on my Mac for well over a year now and have never looked back. This is an incredible app and while not perfect yet, The Browser Company has always been quick with updates and actually listens to user feedback (what a concept!).

A few things I would love to see improved here is the sensitivity of the back left swipe is too touchy for me. It may even be nice to have an advanced settings options where people can customize the sensitivity of the swipes, pinch to summarize, etc. I’m using a 13 Max Pro so maybe the larger screen is why mine feels so much more sensitive.

Also, I would love to see the old Arc mobile browser merge so that I am able to view all of my different spaces, folders and links on Arc Search or just one app in general. I shouldn’t have to switch between the two. I love the simplicity of Arc Search, but even if I have to tap a few times to find my spaces/folders that would still be very useful.

Otherwise, keep up the good work guys! You have a loyal community, myself included.
  • There’s truly nothing like it!

Arch Search is an incredible App. It is truly the best way to find anything on the internet. I find myself multiple times a day just searching random stuff because I like the way it summarizes things for me.

My only complaint, and the reason I took one start off, is that I wish the search bar had better auto-correct capabilities. Whenever I’m typing something fast, it is mostly always gibberish that’s hard to understand, and I have to go back and take extra time to ensure it is correct. Natively, on iOS, autocorrect works everywhere but not on the app. I hope this is something that’s added in a future patch.
  • Actually Revolutionary

I use it daily. Absolutely wonderful feature which could kick search engines right where it hurts the most. Obviously super early too, but at least for me the concept of traditional internet search got a big fat crack all the way—Browse for me is probably the way it actually should work. What I think arc got very right is that for like 90% of your searches you just want a simple answer (versus a sea of links and spam articles) and then move on with your life. We found all places we ate at in Mexico using arc search and boy it didn’t miss a single time.
  • Great use of AI

I love this app and the Ai features as well as being able to choose the search engine we want as default. The browse for me feature is so helpful and saves me so much time when searching for stuff.

In order to use this a default browser, there is is One bug I've found that I would love fixed. On the favorites list, once the list gets too long I can't access the bottom of it. It will not let me scroll down and see the last two at the end of my list. I wish there was a way to just drag up on the search bar and the keyboard would disappear and give access to the whole favorites list.
  • Add link previews and more summary options

The app is decent, but the absence of link previews and also a history section has me puzzled. I’m assuming it was intentionally removed and I don’t know why, as pop-up link previews are one of my favorite things about web browsers on iOS, and a history section is obviously incredibly important to any browser. Additionally, while the summarize feature is nice and useful, it needs to be expanded, and so I hope additional options are added in the future, such as an option to ask questions about the page or request a longer or shorter summary.
  • The only search app I use

I’m a huge fan of the Arc browser on Mac, so I was pretty interested in this app. Only occasionally will I save tabs for long term use, 95% of my phone web browsing is quick searches.

This app does the basics great, and it looks nice. Now where this app is incredible is the summarize for me feature. For a random search I don’t need to worry about sorting through ads, finding the right page, finding the information I want in that page. It summarizes topics and questions perfectly, it’s never missed on the search. Thanks for an awesome app!
  • Amazing, needs some work

I absolutely love Arc on Mac. And I so much want to be able to use Arc on all of my devices. But the truth is I don’t use my iPhone for web browsing that much. I use my iPad and my Mac. And unfortunately, there is no version of any arc for iPad natively. only the scaled versions of the iPhone apps, which are unfortunately just not suitable for normal browsing. At least there is the Arc sync app where I can get my tabs that I need. But that just adds many extra steps when on iPad it would be nice to just have an arc with sync and with all the features, that should be an arc. The four stars, however are because I know it is still new and I know they’re still working on everything. The one star missing is just for the fact that there is no native iPad app and there is no all in one app in general. If you have a Mac, I absolutely recommend downloading Arc. And if you use your iPhone for web browsing also recommend. And if you have an iPad, I would highly recommend sending out your request to the developers so that they know that it should be a priority.
  • Useful but needs work

This app is a joy to use and is a better experience in many ways to using a traditional browser and search engine. The “browse for me” feature will provide more detailed and sometimes faster answers than searching on google. However, it doesn’t always interpret questions or searches perfectly depending on what you ask it. My major complaint is that I run it on an IPhone X and it is painfully laggy in comparison to using google chrome. In addition, the browse for me feature is not as instantaneous as a google search, which is often inconvenient.

You should try it if you haven’t, because it is overall a positive and unique internet browsing experience. If they address these problems then I may consider using it as my default browser. But for now, I’m sticking with chrome.
  • It’s good but needs improvement

I love ARC search it’s not my go to browser just yet but I kinda like keeping my two types of browsing separate. Arc is great when I want a list of options a comprehensive look at a topic so I can dive deeper. The problem is I just want to dive deeper into this rabbit hole but I can’t. I feel like this is a fundamental feature missing to this whole idea, please add some sort of “Reply” System where I can ask a question that would dive into further specifics of the original/last search.

This has already transformed my ability to get a lot of information quickly. We are at the beginning of a new Era!
