No longer works
I’ve had for several years and it was just OK. It showed me cameras but anything else really was not supported or just was too difficult to perform on phone. This past month the system doesn’t sync with app. Can no longer view on phone. Spent many hrs resetting devices still negative results.Relentlessburds
Outdated System
I’ve had this system for about four years. During my last IOS update, the cameras will no longer work on my Iphone. The wheels just spin until it times out.
I was hoping this would last for at least a decade since it was a new version when I bought and installed them. Shame on Swann for not responding to customer concerns.Show lessDriving Dave
WORST APP EVER
Worst app ever never loads up the camera it always fails , absolutely rubbish and funny thing is that the camera system not even cheap it’s expensive, but the app is absolutely rubbish , example if you wanted to see whos in front of your house or even if you wanted to see if you got your washing in dont expect this piece of rubbish will let you see it, you rather come home and check if for yourself of even better just tell a bird from the sky to come and chrck it cor you thats how useless this piece of crap is ,WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE SO PLEASE IF YOUR ARE READING THIS DONT BUY SWANVIEW ITS VERY DISAPPOINTING.Show lessSh***
Doesn’t work most of the time
When this App actually works it’s not bad. Unfortunately most of the time it will not connect even when connected to the same network my Swann Hdd is connected too. Most of the time, over mobile data Device Log On is not possible and when on WIFI the Camera pictures do not load. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling, turning off the vpn, etc, etc. Needs to be more reliable and more stable.Show lessmalc_bart
Unreliable
The app has been primarily useless for the last year or so. Every once in a while I am able to view the cameras but that’s rare. Sometimes if we unplug and then plug the device itself back in, I can access the cameras in the app, but again, not reliable. Disappointed that we have a system that I can’t access outside of the actual unit.Show lesskhaydeebee
Terrible app always have a issue
Always problems to connect, never smooth or easy to access the cameras or review something recorded. Everything is a mess with this app we paid a lot of money for a good product and their gadget or app is very poor.. I hope they can fixe the delay when you are trying to connect remotely, the app close or simply not connected with the delay of not seeing nothing swiping from wifi to 3g/4g or just saying FAILED TO CONNECT. PLEASE FIX and make this app more reliable for all your clients and customers.Show lessZombie master 77

Hi, SwannView Link works really good, Firstly, I connected it to my mum's phone and shared the security cameras for outside, my mum bought the TV from Kogan, and tried to connect it but it didn't work, so basically I check on my phone and she checks on hers(which I'm typing on right now) Secondly, it might be hard to connect it to ur tv or something but it works still so many choices on the app!

Virtually useless
This app has been absolutely hopeless for remote access of my CCTV system for the past week. The interface is so far behind the likes of Ring it’s almost comical. It’s clunky, still doesn’t screen record and takes about 50 attempts to load anything recorded saying login error or file cannot be found, despite being on 4G and having 350meg broadband at the site of cameras. No app updates for years despite the CCTV system costing many many hundreds of pounds. PC software isn’t a lot better either. I am seriously considering changing the whole system and saying goodbye to Swann!
…Having just checked the Swann website this app is listed as ‘archived’ so it doesn’t seem that they even care it is abysmal and not fit for purpose. Won’t be buying Swann products ever again and I regret not taking my electrician’s advice.Show lessmrchimp
Update caused the cameras to not work
I did the update recently and now I keep getting log in fails. My moms app that hasn’t been updated yet is still working fine. I think the update messed things up. This is frustrating.jaetachi
Doesn’t Work!!
I’ve had Swann cameras for a few years now & the app for iPhone is terrible. It worked maybe the first year I had an old iPhone. Since upgrading to a new iPhone I haven’t been able to get an app to work for these cameras. Have decided to put in a new system & definitely NOT using swann ever again..
