Played without the app being open
I woke up in the middle of the night and my app was playing when I hadn’t opened it at all that day or before going to sleep. I fell asleep watching TV on my phone and woke up with my app playing. Very scary especially because I had closed all of my open apps before bed. Why may this have happened?

I like it but it’s super glitchy.
As the title states, this app is really glitchy. I mainly just use the sleep portion of this app. I like the sleep scriptures and the sleep music more than the sleep stores in particular. Most of the guided meditations are short and that’s kind of annoying. They’re really hit or miss. It’s especially annoying when using it for sleep because I’m not feeling the one I’ve chosen then I have to go back and choose another and start the process over again. The thing that bothers me most with the app - and the only reason I’m writing a review - is that it’s really glitchy and I’m hoping that will prompt the creators to do something about it. I had to reboot the app so many times and it would still freeze and act glitchy a lot when I first started using it. I thought it was maybe because I was using the free version so I purchased the full subscription - something I never do - but I really did enjoy what of the app I had experienced. I still experience this issue all the time though. No other app but this one. Idk what the deal is. It’s really annoying, especially considering I use such a minimal amount of the content they actually have.Show lesststratttttt

I hear about mediation all the time but mostly from the Hindu or Buddhist perspective. It’s all about clearing your mind and for what? I never really understood that method as I’ve never been able to be without thought. However, what’s comforting to me about this way of meditating and this app is it helps me to center my thoughts & heart on God. It’s a great start to my day to truly have thought deeply about who God is and my relation to him. It helps to shape my actions and I’m generally in a better mood because of it. I usually don’t pay for subscription apps especially when there’s a free alternative out there yet I find that this was the best 40/y I’ve spent. There are themes you can meditate on and everyone who guides the mediation voice is so soothing. I actually discovered Abide from my

I absolutely love this app! It is my go to place for teaching, relaxing and most of all being able to sit in the presence of God and soaking in his word.
My only nag would be that the app can be a little temperamental and I’m unable to share with my children on family sharing, but I’m fully aware this could be that I’m unable to figure it out. Nonetheless, this app absolutely deserves a 5* rating. Thank you to all who put in the efforts and love in order to make this accessible. I use this app daily - the meditation after my workout and a sleep story or two at night. It is a wonderful app. The narrators are well suited to their role. I value it immensely and find it a continual blessing. Keep up the good work!Travelling salespeople

I love the Abide app and have depended on it to help me sleep ever since my husband died unexpectedly last year. The narrators’ voices are so comforting, and I love having them read scripture and pray over me throughout the night. I always choose 8 hours so that it will continue all night. When I wake up during the night they’re still there, and I don’t feel so alone.
With the recent update, I was unable to get the meditations to play continuously for 8 hours and wrote a review complaining about it. The developer reached out to me, and after several email exchanges in which they explained to me how to use the new features, I am once again able to have it play all night uninterrupted. I’m very impressed with their attention and help in making it work for me. Way to go, Abide!

I am very thankful for the Abide app, I’ve been listening to it since early summer when I began to not sleep well, having anxiety as well as pain. When my mind begins to be over anxious with all the pains of my body as well as life in general I am able to find rest with this app. It helps my mind focus on the fact that Jesus is in control and I am safe in His care, I can place all my life’s cares and pain in his mighty hands and he covers me with with peace. The soft gentle rain I keep on all night and it’s a gentle soothing reminder if I awake in the middle of the night. I enjoy it also for a morning devotion as well. It’s perfect for me and my family.
As a preschool teacher at a Christian school my students in my class enjoy the children’s stories at nap time. What a perfect app it not only helps me at home but caries over to my work place!!!
