I love this app. It helps me set aside a special time with God each day. At the end of a meditation, it displays a beautiful photo with a reminder of the scripture used. In a future update, I would love to be able to download these images to my phone to keep as daily reminders.Kate Actually

I really love the Abide App as it has enabled me to spend more time in God’s presence. I love the step by step guides which allow me to pause the app at anytime and just be able to converse with God about any and every situation that I may be facing. The guides cover so many topics, such as anxiety, faith, trust etc. This App has really enabled me to get into the bible more and because of it, I have grown in my Christian life. I look forward to spending time with God everyday and I am hearing his voice much clearer because of mediating on His word. This App has been a life-line to me in good times and bad times. This is a really helpful, practical app that incorporates daily Bible reading and devotions into everyday life and busy schedules. As a teenager who finds it hard to independently engage in Bible reading regularly, Abide has really helped me to become accountable for my faith and self improvement without making you feel unsure of where to start (as it can be hard to figure out where to start reading in the Bible). The daily meditations/devotions make it easy for you to just get going while also challenging your thinking and allowing you to further delve into the Bible of your own accord. I have been using this app for about 2 years now and enjoy it mostly in the mornings before I start my devotions. The sleep meditations are wonderful on those nights I feel out of sorts or wake up. I love the wide range of topics and can find something for any mood or emotions I am feeling in that moment. The speakers are the very best in the industry and provide the highest level of calm to the meditation. I do have my favorites, however they truly are all very good. My only negative point would be the recent switch in background sounds. Personally I prefer the calm of the flowing stream over the piano music as I find the music distracting to my meditation. I’ve been a real Christian since October last year. I know factually that God loves me and all but I have difficulty feeling it instead of just knowing it. Especially when I fall into sin. I feel like God is mad and annoyed at me. I know this isn’t true but I just have trouble feeling it. God has done so much for me and I felt His love so many times. I’ve had a false image of Him in my head where He is so annoyed at me every time I sin and doesn’t want to see my face when I repent. (Of course I’m not justifying sin here it’s horrible). Abuse has really helped me FEEL and not just know how living God is. I see how graceful and beautiful He is in scripture but I just for some reason make myself an exception and that I’m just gross. Thank you guys! I needed a way to remind me that I’m truly His son. It feels great to sleep with His presence instead of trying to run away from Him from guilt. I like the app but..
Why are there different subscription prices in the app description summary but in the app there’s no option for choosing what level to subscribe to (example; There’s a minimum option of $2.99 a month all the way up to $200 per year). Being that I already have dozens of subscriptions I pay for already, I’d like to have the option of choosing how much to pay whether yearly or monthly as opposed to having to cough up $39 for something I might lose interest in a few months later thereby losing money as well. If you advertise an option for a monthly minimum of $2.99 a month how about you give us that option when we decide to purchase the app instead of only offering the option of $39 per year? Just a few annoying things
I love the app but there are just a few annoying items. First, the speakers often say Father God instead of just God or God the Father. It’s annoying when you’re about falling asleep you feel really relaxed and enjoying the meditation or sleep story but then they say “father God” and it drives me nuts and wakes me up. I never heard of father God until I had the app. He is foremost God so just say that.
In another sleep story I was getting really relaxed and enjoying the story and just about to fall asleep when the narrator said James the brother of Jesus 🤦♀️ that woke me up completely and I had to change the sleep story. I can go into why that is biblically not correct, but that’s not the point. I was hoping they would leave the difference between Protestant and Catholic references out of their stories.
Those are the two main things that I wish they would change. It may be small, but when they jolt you out of your meditation it’s kind of counter active to what you’re trying to accomplish. Another suggestion I would like to see is a place where I could find the actual prayers in text format. Some of them are really outstanding and I would like to read them during the day.
Overall I would recommend this app, but if you’re Catholic you may find a few annoying things too much. If there’s a Catholic version of this I would definitely consider using that instead of Abide.Show lessPatPattyPatricia
The Best Part of My Day
I wake up every morning to a notification of a new meditation. I lay in bed and listen for 10-15 minutes and allow myself to connect to my Heavenly Father. He brings me to a fresh start that energizes my entire day. I notice that I struggle on days I don’t begin with this connection to Him. Abide allows me to do this. Abide allows my days to become connected to the One who created me. The One who mastered the universe. The One who sent His Holy Son to take MY place in death so that I have nothing to fear. I have nothing of which to worry or wonder. Abide gives my days a perfect start and an opportunity to stop and find PERFECT GUIDANCE when I’m in need of help in a crisis or a rough patch in my days. Abide gives specific help in trouble. I have owned many other meditation apps that cost over $100 a year. I will NEVER pay for these again. I have had Abide for two years and I will always have it as long as it exists.
Abide, thank you for allowing me to have the perfect app to connect to the Way, the Truth and the Life. I can come to the Father whenever I want and by faith in Christ Jesus, I can experience the true love and fulfillment of God. Abide, you make this happen. You’ve changed my life and I’m fairly confident that you’ve allowed change in my relationships with others. I am forever a subscriber and grateful for what you do.

Simply the Best
A little over a year ago I was really struggling with sleeping. I actually downloaded another popular app and although it was good ... something was missing. Then I ran across this app - it caught my attention. I was like good sleep plus God - well I can’t think of anything better. Then I realized it was muchhhh more that just a sleep app. The daily mediation for me having been so healing and uplifting. Some times I get so deep in the meditation I find my self crying. I’ve struggled for years with my actual church going. I knew that I wasn’t in the place mentally to attend church regularly- I’ve often felt like a outcast - but I didn’t want that to hinder my actual growth with God. I’m not saying download this app and stop going to church! I’m saying that this app has slowly restored my faith all over and now I go to church more - now I spend more time with God overall. I was skeptical when first downloading as a Christian you have to be so on guard with what information you take in. This app is my safe space - I wake up with and go to sleep with it - sometimes I even listen to it when I work out! From the voices and sounds just everything- I truly can’t express how grateful I am to have this tool and I hope this company continues to flourish because this is the type of energy we all need in our lives!!Show lessDashana Secada
