I recently downloaded this app and decided to try to check it out each day during the trial. Turns out it’s awesome. This app is great to play while you work, cook, drive, or chill. I recommended it to my husband and kids AND I wasn’t joking. I really want them to use it. Unfortunately, two problems with this: (1.) We all have different accounts if we download it, which means $40 x 6. Yes, $240 a year! ABIDE, you need a family account where families can add several emails at an affordable rate because this app is great to plug in for all the different emotions and circumstances people deal with on a regular basis. Otherwise, I will be the only user. (2.) I play the bedtime stories (FYI, Fireflies!), but the guy NEVER stopped after 15 minutes and so I ended up waking up a couple hours later to a person—still talking.
Anyway, I also like that I can mute the story and just play the music or nature sound while I work. Love that!!!Show lessLightboxr
Soft Meditations that inspire and strengthen
I have been thoroughly immersed in passion week, as I stumbled.. was led... to this app. I really felt like I had witnessed all of the occurrences with Jesus. I listen to the free 2 minute meditations and prayers, but wish the year’s subscription wasn’t 60 dollars. I know the Abide people have expenditures, but wouldn’t it be nicer to ask for a donation rather than a set amount. Just my opinion and thoughts. Other than that, I Love this program.Show lessA zeal

I gotta say, this is one of my most favorite apps ever. I love the content...length, variety, functionality, the sounds you can add. I love it for daily meditation as well as for sleep. I have a 7-year-old who sometimes struggles with falling asleep. This works every time. There has been a lot of uncertainty and anxiety surrounding COVID-19, and this really helps me with that. Helps me to remember who is in charge. And it is not Donald Trump. And those voices are sooooo soothing! I cannot say enough good things. I paid for the annual subscription. It has already been worth it for me, and I’ve only been using it for a couple of weeks. I appreciate the annual vs. monthly subscription. And I feel the amount for a whole year’s worth of content is worth it. Anything to help me focus on God instead of stuff. Great companion to Bible study. So Excellent & Worth the $
I have been using this app for about 2 years. I listen to the daily meditation and/or a sleep story nearly every night before I sleep and I often seek out other meditations that I need in particular at times. This is a flawless and superb app for those of us that believe in the Bible and have our hearts and minds fixed on Jesus or that want to. I highly recommend it and have to many. The $69 annual fee is honestly well worth the investment for your spiritual life, for mindfulness practice. I can’t think of any other review I’ve chosen to post about anything or any place. I keep my opinions out of the public domain but not any longer in regards to this stellar God centered (Christian) meditation app! I tried other meditation apps also but quickly realized that I don’t want just any words in my ears, spoken over me...I wanted Gods words, words about my Lord and Savior and I found that need and desire fully met with the Abide App!!Show lessRaindogJones
My new routine
My Abide meditation app is now a part of my mornings with God. I cannot praise this app enough! I urge everyone to get, you will not be disappointed!! As a happily meat eating, gun loving western Male, I am not an avid fan of what I perceive to be meditation; and I still do not find the concept that useful to me personally.
Nevertheless the daily scriptures coupled with the dulcet tones of the readers and a choice of background music, or ambient sounds, really gives you an invaluable chance for pause, introspection, peace, prayer and reflection.
However my only developmental feedback is that Abide’s management should really encourage their readers to use their authentic voices. Keep the heavy breathing, erroneous pauses and try-hard hammy acting, to Z-List HBO dramas. There was an English guy today (sure he’s a great human being) but I think he was auditioning for the role of a Sith Lord in the next StarWars film.Show lessPeterlovesgarage

It’s easy and intuitive and the meditations I’ve listened to so far have had depth and been helpful. One improvement suggestion would be to add some more quality fingerpicking guitar and piano to the background music in longer samples - 1 or 2 bars looped is a little too repetitive/grating when listening to it for 15/20 mins :( even a 4 or 8 bar loop would be great. I like it bcuz I think it’s worth it paying the fee for a much longer time for longer devotions ... Think of all the money we spend on things that has absolutely nothing to do with feeding ourselves spiritually in our minds & our hearts! Yes .. $39 may be a little steep for some but I guess it would all come down to what a person feels is important in their lives. I know I can spend $39 pretty quickly on going out for an In & Out Burger & a smoothie a few times a week, a movie, or just snacks! I just really love the variety of devotional things that Abide has to offer. Maybe they could cut the price per year by $5-$10 to help people out but either I’ll still find my snack money especially somewhere. We do live in a great country & I am happy with what this administration has done for our economy so far ... we must all pray over what’s happening now with the Pandemic situation of the Coronavirus for that is far more of what we need than to squak over what can help us to be encouraged in this day & time in what we are being faced with! ... This is the most amazing app if you want a combination of relaxing thought provoking meditations and Biblical content. I have been using it for a few months now and it has literally been a God send which I have introduced to a number of my non-religious friends who are going through their own trials.
Disappointing to read some of the negative reviews complaining about the subscription charge after the trial period. IMHO, it’s a fair price for great content (and people have to earn a living!).

Unable to cancel after starting free trial
Not impressed with instructions on how to cancel subscription. None of the instructions were relevant. Nowhere on the ap did it have ME, the profile only had prices of options not a cancel subscription anywhere. 🙁Individual player

Hi, and I am sorry for any confusion. All apps can be canceled by going into your iTunes account. Where did you see the "Me" instructions as iOS devices have "Profile" at the bottom of the screen? I wish you reached out to us at help@aibide.co (not .com). If the "Cancel" was not at the bottom of your screen, you were probably canceled.
