  • Sound turns off and app unreliable

So frustrating lately-almost every morning I wake up to find the sound on the app isn’t working- the sound button is lit up showing it’s on but no sound. I have to close the app and re open for it to work. Very frustrating esp when the baby is sick and coughing throughout the night- I NEED to be able to hear him. Also we have always had issues randomly when we open the app and it cannot seem to connect to the camera to show us anything- many times its hours later before it works.

  • Great app just a few issues

I love that I can see her and I can play music. I wish there was a way to hear her still even with the music on. There’s times at night I put the music on and forget to turn it off and put the speaker back on bc I am so tired and then she’s in there screaming. Wish there was a timer for the music and then it would go back to listening to her . I don’t like the constant issue with my volume. There’s so much static and I was told to reset the monitor, well the power went out the other day which reset it but since then I have had to reset it about 3 more times. She is in there now and I can barely hear her again and going to have to reset it again for about the 4th time this week (twice in 2 days). Not sure why there’s so much static all the time and the volume is being effected so much. Please fix this problem.

  • Great app with some minor annoyances

Overall I love this app. I can watch my baby sleep or play in her crib without going into the room to check on her!

The temperature and humidity settings are nice to see, so I know she’s comfortable. I’m impressed that the air quality monitor can actually pick up when we leave a messy diaper in the trash on the opposite side of the room! It tells us we have fair or bad air quality. Oops.

Two things are annoying. I’ve seen others complain about the refresh. As in, they say the monitor shows the baby still sleeping when she’s not even there. I have noticed a lag at times, which is likely our WiFi speed and not the app. The solution I’ve found is to close out the app when I’m done so that it has to refresh the next time it opens. This avoids seeing images that are from the previous time.

Second annoyance is that the sound and motion alerts pop up in the middle of my screen when I’m in the app watching. That seems dumb. It impedes my view and I have to keep tapping away the alerts to see what’s going on. If that were fixed, this would be a five star review!

  • Great monitor except...

I have no issues with the monitor or app other than the fact that every few nights the app will stop working on my phone. I turn on the audio feature, lock my phone, and place it on my nightstand so I can hear when my baby wakes up and needs to eat. Luckily I can hear him crying from my room without a monitor, but I don’t like waiting until he cries to feed him because it’s harder to get him back down to bed. The app will work perfectly a few nights, then it will randomly turn off while I’m sleeping. It’s incredibly frustrating because it works without issue most of the time.

  • Great when the app works

Have found the app to be very temperamental and often drops out making it very unreliable
  • Good, urgently needs an update

Works well as a baby monitor with one serious issue, two annoyances and one feature request.

Serious issue: The big problem I encountered was that the initial M6S device setup was not working. I have iOS 12. It would all for the wireless key and then spin forever. I got it to setup with an older phone with iOS 10, where it asked if I wanted to share the wifi key. Subsequently the app worked ok on iOS 12.

    Annoyances:
    1) when opening the app Why is the sound turned off by default? This is a baby monitor! The default should be on.
2)it is clear when comparing to a dedicated FHSS monitor that the sound lags behind by almost a second. This gives a weird wailing echo effect when baby is crying. I have a fast Network and so the device or the software are to blame.

Feature: What I'd really like to see a red indicator at the top left of the iPhone (an oval background to the time/carrier display) when in lock mode; this is a shortcut to open the app and serves as an indicator that the monitor is running in audio mode. This is implemented in the "cloud baby monitor" app and is very useful as a shortcut.

  • New update!

We have had our iBaby for two years and had very little problem with it. The app does crash from time to time and sometimes won’t load just comes up with a black screen with the loading circle but most of the time closing the app and opening it again seems to fix it! My only frustration at the moment is our monitor and app worked fine prior to the last update which I did on the 26th September on my phone! Now even though my settings are all the exact same in regards to sound alerts I get NONE!!! I have even tried to turn the alert level to low and this still doesn’t work! It doesn’t help when your child is down one end of the house and your at the other to know if they are crying and need you! Please fix this as apart from this the product and app have been great!

  • Hiccups but worth it

I had some hiccups originally with setting the system up, and it not being exactly as advertised. A little bummed out that customer support never got back to me, but I have still been using my system for 6 months and love it. A few things I wish I knew-

You can’t have more than two users really, and not more than one owner. This limits it’s advertised functionality of having more users, but hey, whatever I guess.

The biggest downside is that there is a light on the back of the system that goes off when the wifi is off, or for random reasons. This lights up a dark room and kinda wakes my baby up, even though it is a small light.

Still well worth the cost and all, I do love this app now.

Volume control could use improvement, and the image capture and image in general is funny in that it zooms the entire UI and not just the image, so everything gets grainy.

After a difficulter-than-needed learning curve with two very technologically adept parents, we now love it! Good for this price point and I would recommend.

  • Love the app

We love the app and it has great features on it however there is just one small bug, the sound keeps turning off by itself randomly. There have been times when our baby was crying and we were down the opposite end of the house so we didn’t hear him.
  • Best Baby Monitor

This monitor is amazing! Couldn’t have asked for a better product. The image quality is really good and I love that I can see my son with the night vision as well. It plays music for him while he sleeps and I can listen, speak or record. Which is a huge help with a toddler as he likes to climb off his bed when we “aren’t looking” and get into things he’s not supposed to. Or he will stay up and play with his toys instead of go to bed.
I enjoy it very much and would highly recommend it!
