I live in Canada and order gifts from here for a friend in New Zealand. It took me months to find a place that I could order from. I was buying gifts from here in Canada and sending them there which at times took up to three months to arrive. This is a perfect alternative, I just wish I knew about The Warehouse years ago

Sadly lacking Out of stock feature
It’s so full of options but sadly lacking an out of stock selector feature.
Not sure who in your development team thinks it’s a good idea to list every colour option as a separate product.
It’s a bit pathetic. However you are open and after a few hours search I manage to find some products that you have in store.
Stay safe people.

Stock in app is incorrect
Used the app to check which store had a product I wanted to purchase. Went to the store that said available and turns out they didn’t have that particular product in store for 4 months. So proceeded to then remove it from the app-which was a little to late for me after travelling some distance to get the product. Called another store that showed the product was ‘available’ in the app again they did not have the product in store.
Note to all users app doesn’t really project what’s actually in store and please call before making any travel arrangements to get there.

Screen orientation not practical for iPad with a keyboard
I don’t think the Screen orientation is practical when using an iPad with a keyboard or just for plain comfort when holding it...
Would be nice to be able to switch orientation to landscape for these reasons... a few shopping apps I’ve downloaded Ive notice I just don’t bother looking through them because of this issue being a physical hassle and tend go to the ones I know are user friendly in this way unless I’m desperate for something from that store... I spose doesn’t seem like a big deal but just thought I’d mention for feedback sake as using the app makes things super easy when it’s usable. PS I only used the app today because it wouldn’t let me see whether an item was in a store with out using it... other than this the app is easy to navigate and I am pleased it lets you go back to exactly where you were and without resetting to the beginning of your search - so big plus for that!

Easy to use
Unfortunately a few items I wanted were not avail be online and/or were sold out.

Search in store doesn’t work
Looking on the website for a product and it says download the app to find in store... downloaded the app, got exactly the same message in the app 🤷♀️
Payment
Making payment is a real hassle. Little screen, fiddley questions to type in. Redirects to other screens.
Other than that, app itself is good. A few things not available online though and often things listed as purchase and you will get a random choice of xxxx rather than being able to pick which one you want. Therefore putting you off buying the item.

Could be better
I love your store but find shopping online glitchy. Improve the size choice as sometimes difficult to select options. Often just give up & head to store if honest. Today’s order was hugely improved. 2nd time round ( only) could select click n collect as your system was registering incorrectly delivery of $1 ? Odd but got there by redoing. Thank you, superb store. Having shopped for so long in City find this Pukekohe store was awful. However new Manager has improved things drastically. Your Pukekohe garden section is so disappointing & I feel down to your sweet but unprofessional lead lady running things. For some things like dead orchids she still insists is $40 odd dollars. Unheard of -in city reduced drastically to at least make up some sale. And your plants are not cared for CONSISTENTLY WELL. Sad as shop with Mitre 10 now & hardly ever do with yourselves anymore. And Pukekohe has a huge gardener market. Old ladies a plenty. Think you need some new blood to get this section up to scratch. Also this store is synonymous for poor customer service , a lot of abrupt, rude, can’t be bothered staff on floor. Except for new South African man, brilliant service/ help went out of his way to help. Welcome surprise. Mostly your teller staff are great & friendly. Efficient & kind. So improvements are noticeable & make shopping at your store far more enjoyable of late. Thank you

Nice shopping app, but service is atrocious
It’s unclear who you contact if you want to cancel an order. I contacted them via email/call centre, and online chat. When I thought it had been resolved, I got a call from the delivery company to check when I can receive the order.
Most recently I was in a store and wanted to buy a shelf and a dining table with chairs. I decided ordering them through the app would be easier than trying to get them home myself. How wrong I was. Turns out the table is on back order cause it’s out of stock, but not when I purchased it. And it appears there is still stock in the shops. Have had no contact to advise that my order is unable to be completed.
Their online sales & distribution process is highly inefficient and unprofessional.
When ordering online from Kmart, they email you to tell you if something you ordered is out of stock, and they waive the delivery fee for anything else you ordered at the time.

Very sleek and user friendly interface the app more than compensates for and replaces the old clunky shopping experience provided by the Warehouse website. I cannot express how frustrating it was shopping online with a web browser using that thing and having to troll through the numerous broken URLs. Nice to see TWG has actually invested in getting with the times.
