so far I tried surf tracing, running and swimming.
The ripcurl GPS 2 watch seems to track surfing more accurate than the previous watch. However, I guess it disregards short distance waves. Previous version used to included every attempt you paddle, whereas this one seems to record only 20 meters long waves or longer than that.
Swimming in the pool was very disappointing. I swam 4.4 Km whileas the watch recorded 6.4 km. The photo was very odd, as if I had swum in dry surfaces areas adjacent to the pool. I noticed there is a delay on speed. When you have just completed a set and are waiting to go for another, the speed last few seconds until goes to zero speed.
Please reply whether you can fix these items above. I enjoy the watch despite of these negative points...Show lessLuis F Monteiro
Not advanced enough
I do like this app because it’s the best yet. However I am not sure how they haven’t advanced it further. How does it not connect to the health app? Often it doesn’t recognize spots.giovichia

Swell/Wind updates no longer working
Swell and wind updates are no longer updating even after the GPS2 is reset and app is reinstalled. Please fix.T.J.~
Doesn’t work
This app doesn't work good, sometimes need log in and in the Surfline app says working whit this watch, another lie, I'm really disappointed. I don’t believe one big brand make this.fopucci

Time Display
Love the watch, but it unfortunately does not display a seconds counter for the time, thus inhibiting the ability to ‘hack’, take a pulse count or anything else requiring the need to know ‘seconds’ ... hoping Ripcurl will bring out a software update to rectify this soon...Nix300
