  • Awesome app got us to the hospital on time

I’m always weary of these apps with perfect scores, but this no frills app worked great for timing my wife’s contractions and got us to the hospital just in time. Healthy baby was delivered 5 hours after it told us to leave for the hospital. I did buy the $3 in app upgrade because it seemed like a no brainer cost. Definitely would recommend to friends, family, and internet strangers. Thanks to the developers for this simple to use app. It immensely helped us navigate a scary experience :) Good luck to the parents reading this!

  • It works but…

I mean the app itself works well. But constant ads popping up and being asked to rate and/or buy the full version at 3am while I was mid-contractions and going into labour was pretty annoying. Also you can’t delete a contraction from the timer if you accidentally tapped so then it throws off your average contraction times.

  • Could use some improvements

I didn't really look into other apps for contraction timing but I purchased this one so not sure what else is out there. It's a fine app but 2 very helpful improvements would be 1) a dark mode (white screen is SUPER bright in the middle of the night) and 2) a widget so I can track them from home screen without fully opening the app.

  • Delivered with this app!

I was using another app to track my contractions and was getting so stressed out/confused as what to do and if they were real contractions. I called the hospital and doctors office which told me different things to try and gave me tips.
I downloaded this app after seeing it in a group. I love the average frequency and length feature!! I had thought mine were farther apart with the other app but in fact they were close! Within 4 contractions the app suggested I get ready for the hospital. I stayed home for a bit longer and it kept notifying me to get ready until finally it said time to go!
When I got to the hospital I was 3cm and delivered the next day!

  • Ads

What absolute idiot put ads on a contraction timer one of the last things someone wants to listen to whilst in labour is stupid game ads and what not. Not at all helpful for people who have all their labour’s be 2/3min apart from the beginning and you really shouldn’t trust it as some people have their babies born with them 5+ minutes apart

  • Super Helpful

Amazing app, just what I was wanting to keep track of my contractions, it even let me know when to go to the hospital so I called the midwives, went in and gave birth within 3more hours of contractions and 3mins of pushing
  • Really helped me track labour progress

When I was having contractions the midwives were asking me the frequency and intensity so I downloaded this app to keep track. Perfectly simple. I was able to tell them exactly how my contractions were progressing and I knew when it was time to make my way to the hospital.
  • Extremely helpful

Very handy app to have. Saves the hassle of trying to figure out how long contractions last and how far apart they are and also tells you how many contractions you have per hour.
  • Reviewing to get rid of review requests

Haven’t had to use this yet but based on previous reviews am writing this so the review requests don’t pop up. Interface works well and easy to use, has ads but most likely will pay to remove them as they will reduce battery life & get in the way
  • No Apple Watch compatibility

I didn’t want to give this app a bad rating because I didn’t use it. Im sure it’s great based on its popular reviews. I deleted it immediately because there’s no compatibility with the Apple Watch. I downloaded one that is compatible, however I wanted to plant an idea seed with this company because it’s prettier than the other. It would be nice to have the compatibility with the Apple Watch AND have a Apple Watch face so that when a contraction begins there’s no scrambling mid-contraction to find the phone/watch and start it 15 seconds into the contraction because you weren’t open on the right screen. That would be the most effective and convenient during this time in my opinion. :)
