These puzzles have been solved thousands of times and are complete - both Penny Dell and I OBSESS about quality. Yes, the answers can be cryptic, but they do point in the right direction. Logic Puzzles app also by egghead is almost identical but offers explanations with hints. I prefer to be taught how to fish rather than served, in order to improve my puzzler skills. Still enjoy these, and the simple to use format!PrairieCS
Best logic puzzle app
It’s pretty much perfect. My only two wishes are 1) that when you get a hint, there would be more explanation as to why or how that could have been determined by the clues provided and 2) for when I solve these on my iPad, I could use my apple pencil and write notes.hattieclem
Brilliant
I used to do these logic puzzles in paper format years ago, loving the app version. As you work through the clues determining negative and positive answers more information is revealed as you go back over the clues. Challenging but not unsolvable.StarfishTrish
Clues missing
Some of the puzzles have clues missing, which leaves the answers indeterminate. Checking against the official answers given, some assert a piece of information is due to a given clue, which does not contain that information. Leads to frustration when you come up with a solution that satisfies all the given clues, but it’s still rejected.Show lessJohn Armstrong
Notes would help
Overall a great app. I have solved almost every puzzle, and would love to have more. The puzzles I haven’t solved all use hints that aren’t categories in the grid. They can be useful, but not without drawing pictures or making notes somehow. I often resort to taking a screenshot and printing it to figure these out.
It would be VERY helpful to be able to write these notes on the screen. Examples: 1) some puzzles have times, but many clues are in # of minutes. I'd like to write the elapsed time above each category 2) some clues require figuring out the sex of the characters; the ability to write M or F next to the name would eliminate having to re-do clues if I forget who’s who.Show lessCaemBoy

This is comically challenging for me. I’m constantly saying to myself “it’s ok, you’re good at other things in life” ... but that’s part of the fun in learning new things. Once I read the answer I feel better and excited to try to think through the clues differently. I think it would be cool if some of the answers had another layer of hand holding to help guide me through solutions a little more, and how I can think differently through areas where I probably got stuck.Show lessTbad100
Logic Problem
Hi!
I have just recently acquired this brilliant app and found the puzzle one of your reviewers was having trouble with. I could not see any problem with it - you just have to think ‘outside the box’. This one in particular made one think hard with no positive answers given. Once I worked out one positive answer, all the rest came in quick succession. I so love these puzzles. One comment, however, how can I change from dark to light? There are no settings to do this. Apart from that - love it!Show lessLoranaoj

I’m so glad you’re enjoying the puzzles 🙌. Yes, sometimes they’re tricky, but as you say, that’s part of the fun. The app follows the dark/light mode of your device for iOS 13 and above, and has a setting for iOS 12.
