  • Why the bad reviews?

    I think the developers did a great job on this app. It’s just like using the website, which is much more convenient than finding your way around the old app. The only difference is using a menu button to display the options available rather than seeing them on the left of the page. I think it’s a huge improvement!

  • App needs work.

    Only issues are it doesn’t save my password. Mine tend to be long and complicated so it’s annoying having to put it in every time. Also I have had multiple occasions where it says I have a different amount of money in the bank than I actually do. I have had to pay a ridiculous amount in overdraft fees because of this. When it’s my fault I have over-drafted I will gladly pay the fee, but it happens because the app tells me I have money that I don’t it’s quite frustrating. Unfortunately I will be leaving this bank after using them for most of my life because of this.

  • Outstanding

    I love the latest update where I can view my credit score AND do my banking all at the same time! The whole financial picture all in one place… I love it! 😃 I would like to inform someone about the fact that the app occasionally freezes and spins when I try to log in, forcing me to reboot my phone entirely before it will actually open. Other than that, this app is PERFECT.

  • I use this app daily

    I love the quick access to my finances with this app. I use it every day. Appreciate the alerts to know immediately when a debit is made with my card. Wish the credits and debits by check or ACH would give an immediate text also. The once daily generic text showing transactions occurred is of no real use except to alert you to go see what transactions occurred. And the process to delete those notices is again irritating and difficult. For a period of time it was easy, but the last update returned it to the difficultly process. Overall, I still love the app.

    I am so grateful for the advice, professionalism and the caring for my personal accounting needs that my local branch in Clyde, Texas always provides. FFB also displays this same hometown involvement in many other areas in Texas. They are also right on the pulse of technology and making financial issues and regular banking so easy for the customers.   • It’s one smooth piece of art

    Been with First Financial Bank since I graduated from high school at 18 years old and, let me tell you, this app has definitely IMPROVED since then! I’m 31 years old now, so I’ve been with them for almost 14 years. The UI has definitely improved since I was young. It’s a smooth platform and they even added the option to check your credit score and how to improve it through time! It also has other financial tools that you can use at your disposal! That all definitely deserves 5 stars!

  • Bank app review

    I don’t like this new version of the online banking app as well as the older version. This version seems to be running several days behind as far as the balance in my accounts which has caused some problems for me when I’ve gone in to check balance before spending or paying bills. When the older version always was more up-to-date and I never had to worry that I was going to be overdrawn if I went by what the app said my balance was. This new app has put me overdrawn several times because it has been wrong on my balance by as much as a week late with its calculations. So no I don’t like it near as well as the older app the bank was using! I wish I had the ability to deposit a check by taking a picture of the check, like the service other banks offer. You would think FFIN would offer that service but I’m not aware of it.

    I have been a customer of this bank for over 30 years! My husband passed away, and they sent his Social Security check back to Social Security without asking anyone if it was owed or not! Come to find out yes Social Security owed me this money! Now I have less than $300 into my account. Thanks to this Bank! I’m waiting to see where that check gets deposited again and then I am closing out every account I’ve have with this bank! you would think after being a customer for so long that the bank would’ve at least called and checked on this before assuming they were right in sending this check back. 😡 so much for supporting their customers.
