⚠️ SCAMMED AND THEN GHOSTED ⚠️
TLDR: Making mistakes is human, but ghosting someone when they try to get it resolved is not okay. I ordered two footlong subs in the Subway app. I got four cold four-inch wraps instead. There was nowhere to fix it or even contact them in the app. The delivery person wasn't even affiliated with Subway. Subway just automatically assigned delivery to DoorDash without asking, presumably to avoid accountability. I called six different Subway phone numbers including the location it said it was from, other nearby Subways, one or two general Subway numbers that came up from google, and the number written on the receipt which wasn't even a valid phone number from the error message I got. They were open, I checked. No one answered any of them. I finally found a "Contact Us" section on their website and told them what happened under "Restaurant Experience" which was the closest option they had. Almost 24 hours later they sent me an email confirming what I ordered (again, in the Subway app) was discontinued and I could have a free sandwich. I said no I still want a refund please and never heard back since. I finally gave up and contacted my bank who refunded it within a few minutes. Shouldn't have been their responsibility, Subway shouldn't be scamming people to begin with. Don't make the mistake I did, and please let your Subway-loving friends know.

I done my online order. I was there 45 minutes the girl working there didn’t know what she was doing. It was the day of the eclipse. I didn’t see a lot of cars in the parking lot, but she said her lobby was full when I looked in there I saw one table, some guy pulled away because he was waiting. I was supposed to have curbside service. I was tired of waiting so I pulled up to the drive then I asked if I could go ahead and drive through for my order they said yes when I got to the window, she was so frustrated. She didn’t know what she was doing. Didn’t have my order, and she starting talking very loud
She said it was $33. I said I’m sorry I’ve already paid. I have an online order. She told me to stop screaming at her and I just said it in the calm voice then she said she wasn’t gonna serve me. I didn’t say anything I just sat there. She said my manager is coming in.
I just sat there. Finally she came to the window and said now what was it you had and my manager said I had to give you your food. I finally got it. It was 45 minutes later. I love my Subway sandwich, but boy this was weird.

Customer Service
There is absolutely no customer support whatsoever. Several times after instances of being wrongfully charged I have gone through their “Customer Support” or “GuestCare” and never been refunded or even answered at that point. The first time was when the order was sent to the wrong Subway because the airport doesn’t take deals and the automatic location was set to the one outside, which definitely could be my fault sure but even after calling they told me I could get a refund if I went through the email process. I never got a refund and went on with my life. Then more recently I got charged from an order in Illinois. I got a call from an Illinois order asking me if I had placed an order because it seemed suspicious and I said I never placed that order and that I’m not even in Illinois. She said she would cancel the order but instead they made the sandwich anyways and gave it to the person and that got into my account. I called and asked if they could refund me and they said they couldn’t do anything about it. I ended up taking my card off and changing my password. Now, this time I ordered two foot longs with their bogo deal and had my order voided even though I was still charged. Since I can’t get any service through email I figured I would warn others how bad their support is.

Ever since I laid eyes on my Subway sandwich. I knew this was the app for me. Its extraordinary presence in my phone has given me the chance to receive points and rewards that I couldn’t have ever imagined. I hope this will be the same for other subway customers. The subways in my area have either close down or too far away to order the freshest of the fresh . It was a real heart break for me, but I knew this would be the biggest comeback of the year. When the subway left my mall… My heart was torn to shreds, the people there are so fat that they had a Subway sandwich kicked out of the food court of the mall… it was really really hard for me to even comprehend this amount of fatness that America has provided for our citizens. But I knew subway would come back with an even greater and grander approach. Then they would have the first time. Unlike any other, Papa John’s, McDonald’s, Chick-fil-A, and so forth. I hope future customers would read this and think wow this person was enlightened by the many things this company has to offer… Thank you so much for you and your sandwiches. I hope your day becomes greater than the next.

Ricky is the Absolute Best!
Ricky works at the only 24 hr store in the heart of downtown pigeon forge, I’m a regular late at night as it’s the only quick convenient healthy place to grab a bite to eat late after work and Ricky is always so slammed. He’s got a line out the door and tickets lined up 2030 tickets lined up on the counter and he’s always on the only man there by himself, and he manages to get everybody in and out in a timely manner. He has a positive attitude that man deserves a raise.
I don’t understand how he does that job. I don’t understand how he performs that job that should take at least three people in the amount of time that he does that man deserves a promotion. Kudos to you Ricky you are the man and thank you for always being open and being the the upbeat guide, that you always are dependable late night subway, man, Ricky, I can always count on you to make me feel better and give me a heart to heart with your little pieces of advice for my life Hooters do you Ricky you have no idea

This app is trash
This is one of the WORST food reward apps out there right now. For one if you want to use a gift card and there’s not enough balance to cover the whole transaction, instead of allowing you to use another form of payment like most apps allow, you have to reload your gift card. When you go to reload your gift card, it takes you to their website and then doesn’t allow you to reload the gift card. The only reason I go to subway is if I have a gift card and this is why. Your service is trash. Your app is trash. What’s even worse is that the number on the card to call won’t even allow you to speak to a person to get your problem solved, instead you have to deal with a stupid robot that’s powered by their faulty system. Also delete your card information off the app, I had someone hack into my account and use a gift card because thankfully I removed my debit card in time. I can’t go into the store due to an injury and was just trying to use the last of my gift card with a curbside order. Fix your app and your system. It’s almost as bad as your food.

Inconsistent
This is a good app and that I have been pleasantly surprised with two dollar rewards on several occasions and have gotten accurately made subs in a timely manner from locations I have ordered through the app with. However, glitches are to be expected and if it acts like a jerk, I usually default to avoiding Subway altogether and coming up with a different meal option (wasn’t meant to be mentality). And- payment process is a beast, namely if you have a gift card that does not cover the balance due. For some ridiculous reason it does not allow you to pay with a remaining gift card balance and a credit card to cover the difference. I attempted to “reload“ the Subway card with a couple extra dollars several times so I could get rid of the gift card balance, and after two attempts putting my cc info in (it doesn’t allow autofill), finally getting the information to save…clicked reload card to no avail and nothing happens aside from a click. Bleh. The purpose of the app ordering is for convenience and this is the complete opposite, resulting only in frustration and just paying with Apple pay.

I was blown away how clean and polished
This place was, smelling fresh baked bread
Was out of this world, after observing how clean the place was we walked up to the counter and when I tell you it looked it is if you could reach into the prettiest fresh cut vegetables and meats wow I had so many questions and the guys was there to answer seriously if you have not been in subways lately go to the one on 11 mile Road in royal oak it is so family friendly I promise you’ll come back over and over again seriously my husband and I can’t wait to come back again tomorrow and the next day and the next day until we try all the new sandwiches that Subway has rolled out or just go for a drink and be amazed of what a clean restaurant looks like. No cancel feature
For what it is, it’s ok. It’s slow to work and has shut me out several times where I had to start over. But that isn’t my issue with this app or why I gave it such a low rating.
On April 24, 2022 I made an order and as soon as I hit the order button I realized it was for the wrong town. I IMMEDIATELY tried to cancel it through the app, no button. So I called the store before they even pulled out the bread. The associate on the phone assured me they would take care of my refund and they did not make my order. It has now been 11 weeks, several attempts through the website contact and follow up emails with a Shawn James the supposed General Manager of this branch and NOTHING! He even assured me himself he would get my refund in the mail. I finally emailed him and told him this company obviously doesn’t care about their customers and I was done exhausting myself to follow-up with his so called promises.
Lesson to learn from my experience: don’t make a mistake on the Subway app, you will be punished for it and all they will do is give you empty promises.

App froze and cannot access my 14 $2 rewards!
A week ago, my app froze and a box keeps coming up saying A problem occurred CONTACT SUPPORT or SIGN OUT”
If you “contact support” it takes you to a website with only options that are irrelevant to the issue. I ended up going to the desktop site, where I could sign in but when I check my rewards it says “ERROR please try again”.
I literally go to subway seven days a week and accumulate a ton of points and redeem them one at a time when they’re about the expire. I’ve used this app since it came out two years ago. But suddenly now it froze and I cannot do anything. I have a gift card connected to it and $28 worth of accumulated points that I cannot access. I’ve gone to the main website and filled out a form under “app issues with apple phone” three times in the last week and have heard nothing back. I deleted the app and reinstalled it but the error still comes up. The only way to use it again is to sign up for a new account back at zero.
If ANYBODY has information on who I can actually get a response from someone, please post here. Ridiculous!
