New family
I have three kids and would always have their grandparents babysit when needed. My husband and I would miss functions if my parents had work, their own event, or we wouldn’t even ask if they watched the kids too close to another event.
When we heard about busy bees we figured we would try it out. I was beyond nervous to leave the kids and even came home an hour earlier than planned 🙈 My kids were upset we came home because they were having so much fun!!
Our sitting played games, sports, and other activities with the kids. Even cleaned up everything and did the dishes. I have no idea where she found time for that!! She was so nice and even stayed after explaining to us exactly how the app works from her side and all the steps to become a sitter.
We have only used it one other time and had another amazing experience! We are now looking for times to go out for no reason because the kids beg for a sitter to come over!
My only regret is not using it earlier. Thank you busy bees for allowing us the opportunity to go out stress free, when my kids are having the best time at home!Show less5483nikkiey
Cancelled last minute
Our first time using the service, the sitter cancelled a job booked the week prior with less than 12 hours notice. There was no email, no apology, no explanation, no phone call…. Just an app notification that it had been cancelled and that Busy Bees would try to fill it. Then I got an email saying they couldn’t fill it, and to make sure *I* book sooner next time! I realize this was an automated message, but come on! I replied to this email with my frustrations and nobody replied. Try free services on Facebook instead of busy bees
I’ve used busy bees a few times throughout my 6 years as a parent. It’s always a last resort. While the sitters have been nice enough, I’ve never been able to get the same sitter, even though this is something the company claims. Also beware of cancellation charges—I was charged $40 for a late cancellation that I had no control over. The cancellation fee close to the amount I would have paid for the sitter. When I contacted the company about my issue, twice, I never received any response. So unprofessional. There are so many other ways to find good sitters, less expensive ones too.Show lessJaniceNJones
Busy Bees for a HS student
I’ve been working for busy bees for a year now! I’ve had the most amazing experiences! I’ve met so many different families and have built new friendships with the families. All the families on this website are absolutely amazing! I’ve only had good experiences on here. Busy bees has been such a help for me during my college years between the competitive pay and flexible hours it makes it easy to balance both work and school. Everyone I’ve meet through here has been so kind and helpful wether that be the management and coworkers or the families I work for. Great for extra money!
I am a part time nanny currently and I love to have the option to pick up jobs here and there when I am in need of extra income or wanting to work more hours from week to week. I especially love working for the church’s that request a few bees to help out so you have a chance to meet and connect with other busy bees employees while also caring for little ones! Busy bees is the BEST!!
I haven’t been a bee for too long but I have worked with a couple babysitting sites and busy bees is by far the best!! The app is so convenient and easy to use. Everyone has been so helpful and welcoming!! If you ever have any questions or need anything it’s super easy to get in contact with someone and get answers quickly. Best Job for college
This job is amazing especially with a busy college life. You can pick your own jobs and keep working with preferred families. The app is also great and straight to the point. If I could change one thing about the app it would be to bring back the feature of being able to add booked jobs to your calendar. I have worked for Busy Bees for only a couple of months, but the experience and knowledge and connections I have been gaining from working for BB’s is incredible. The app is super easy to work with and create your own schedule, interacting with parents is super easy, and is kept up to date with sending out announcements and updates from the amazing management!!!

College Bee Summer Side Job
Busy Bees was the best thing that I could have done this summer! I was able to pick the days and times I wanted to babysit and it was so easy. The staff of Busy Bees is so amazing too. I will 100% do this again! I tell all my friends with their own kids about it, and those that don’t live in AZ wish they had something like this. Honestly, genius!
