Amazing job for students and great company!
I’ve had an incredible experience with Busy Bees! The app is easy to use and staff members are always there to support you. This is an ideal job for students because you can make your own hours. There is lots of flexibility and you can pick up jobs on your own schedule. All the families I’ve connected with have been great and I always safe going into a new space. My roommates and I love busy bees!
Last year I was a sophomore in college and I needed a job that accommodated my school schedule and my social life. I remember hearing about busy bees and it was so easy to get signed up and an interview. After a few weeks of being hired all my roommates signed up and started too because it is the perfect app for college girls! Super flexible and such sweet kiddos
I’ve been with busy bees for 2 years and I’ve met some of my favorite families through them. The fact that it all goes through an app makes it super fast and keeps your schedule really flexible. I would suggest you only become a sitter if you are comfortable with meeting lots of new people and being very outgoing to make the little ones feel more comfortable:)Show less🐝Johanna
A great job for college students!
Busy Bees is a great way for college students to build experience working with kids, as well as families. It also allows students to be able to be flexible with their schedules and allows them to pick when they are available to work. They put safety first which is awesome and encourage relationships! I have worked for busy bees for almost 6 months and after only my first week with this company I was in love. As a Bee, they give me the flexibility I need while still all jobs very organized and professional. I feel safe going to meet new families and have never had a poor experience with one. Busy Bees has given me many opportunities to meet new people and connect with kiddos and their families. I’ve been working as a bee for over a year and it has been such a life saver throughout high school and college. The app itself is amazing and very organized to ensure that we pick the right jobs for me and ones that work around my busy schedule! The app has many features and one of my favorites is that all of the important messages from HQ is in one spot all the time. The first time I used Busy Bees Babysitting I was a nervous new mom with a 6-week-old baby. The owner, Amanda, helped talk me through the booking process & informed me how the babysitters who see my job request ONLY have experience with children my age. I was comforted knowing the only Bees who could pick up my job have already watched infants in the past. Erin came to our door and was a pro. She took care of my son like a seasoned vet and we’ve been in love with Busy Bees ever since. 5 years have gone by & we’ve added to our family. We have used Busy Bees consistently so I could work a part-time job, we’ve used them for date nights & appointments & everything in-between. Our sons love Busy Bees and run to the door with excitement when they know a new babysitter is at our door. They recognize the Busy Bees t-shirts when we are out and about. Amazing App!
This App is so great. I’ve never had a problem getting a sitter, even last minute. All of the girls from GCU and ASU are great! They arrive on time, wear their busy bees shirt and take great care of my son. The app has recently been upgraded with new features and ways to hold information such as WiFi passwords and where to have the Bees park. This is really nice because you don’t have to repeat yourself to each sitter, the info is already there for them to see! The staff for the App are also amazing. Over the past year I’ve had a few different experiences with busy bees as an organization. In November 2019 I went through a frustrating hiring process and wasn’t exactly happy with the company. However I can see company growth and kinks are being smoothed out. I reapplied in February and was hired and worked for a few families and churches before being sent home from college due to COVID. Since I’ve been back they’ve updated and made over their app and I’m very impressed with the quality and new features. The company is open to feedback and is always looking for bigger and better! Don’t go to interview if you haven’t had a nanny job....
I had my interview with 2 other girls at sip coffee shop where it was super loud to begin with and I couldn’t even really hear the girl talking to me and I felt like I had to talk louder than I usually do. The 2 girls I was with had done nanny jobs and lots of babysitting... I told them I grew up “popcorn” babysitting my whole life. I don’t know if this is the reason but they didn’t hire me which I’m not mad about but they just said I needed to gain more experience? So me taking classes growing up to learn how to babysit and babysitting pretty much every weekend throughout high school and even after isn’t enough? Compared to 2 girls who had steady nanny jobs ya makes sense I wouldn’t be the one to get it! Just is dumb knowing I’m qualified for something and not being able to get the job that shouldn’t be that hard to get since they can hire as many people as they want!Show lesskiffkeck
