Great app
This app is awesome! Great way to track your finances and super easy to use. Got it to replace an app I had for almost 10 years when the new update made it crash and the developers no longer work on it. Thought I would never find one I liked as much as that one but this one is actually better. Highly recommend. Only grip I have is that it’s a yearly fee for pro. I want to share it with my wife but don’t want to pay 12$ a year from now till forever. Wish there was a lifetime payment option at a reasonable price.Show lessThelcurse
Exactly What I Wanted
For years, I’d been managing my financials manually with other apps that either had gone defunct when upkeep would just stop. I’m still not comfortable with allowing some app to access my accounts AND I like looking back and seeing exactly what I’m spending my money on. The fact that the app syncs with my iDevices without the need of a subscription is an added plus. I have been on this for two years now and there are still features I haven’t used…. yet.
Is it possible to archive blocks of information? If so, can I still go back and view this information to compare with others (months/years). That would be nice.Show lessMecca4BA
Lack of Maintenance
I bought this app on Oct 25, 2018 along with the desktop app and it work well and paired well with the laptop app for about a year. After updating on a particular occasion all the accounts that I have no longer sync perfectly like they us to. The balance on the accounts no longer match up between the phone and the desktop. I use this app everyday for managing my money and keeping track of my spending but I will no longer buy the iCloud syncing due to the lack of professionalism of the programming staff being accurate in their duties. I think that the staff doesn’t use the program every day like I do. If they did the problem would have been several year’s ago. The best thing for any company to do is to become a customer of their product. I SHOULD BE PAID FOR RATING THIS APPLICATION AND THE DESKTOP APPLICATION.!!!Show lessHebrew Thumper

Who knows if this app does what it’s supposed to do because by the 3rd time the app asked for more money to upgrade, I deleted it. First, they immediately ask for money to upgrade for it even to be worth anything. So ok, I’m like cool, it’s cheap $4. Now I’m in the app and I forget what I needed to do, but it was yet again something that you would assume came with the app, but nope. Gotta pay $12. Then, ok, let’s set a goal. Nope, gotta pay $50 for that. After that, who the heck knows. You’re getting charged an annual subscription for every freaking click. Yeah, no thanks. Seriously, just be upfront and have ONE upgrade, what a scam. I would have never paid the initial fee if I knew they were going to bend me over at every click. So annoyed.Show lessMyEggsCoolOff
Works Great
I had the Checkbook HD basic free app for 7 years and it was sufficient. Now that I’m older with more expenses and I’ve been married, the free app didn’t do as mush as I wanted and it was glitchy at times. It served me well over the years so I opted to upgrade to Money Pro by the same developer.
I have been pleasantly surprised how much I like this version. I had some confusion how to transfer from the Checkbook HD app to the new app at first, but I figured it out. After you purchase and install Money Pro, open the Checkbook HD app on your phone and it will prompt you asking if you want to transfer the data to Money Pro. Select Yes and it took a matter of seconds for my 7 years of data to transfer.
It took me a little bit of time learning how the new app functions. Now that I understand it, it works great and it’s a much better improvement over the free basic app.

Terrible
Too cumbersome to get the name of business into the check register. Not intuitive at all. Designed too much towards catalogues and goals, not a simple check register to keep track of money. When I asked support, they said there was an icon, that was it. That was their support. No help at all.
I also bought the Windows version and their sync service. I setup the account and when I tried to login with the Windows version, it was telling me my email was wrong. The response from their support, login using your email, again, terrible support.
I was lucky enough I was wishing their window of time to cancel their sync service, unfortunately I am stuck with the cost of their Windows app.
My suggestion is to try all of the apps to make sure they work for what you want and relatively close to how you need before you pay for their service. Do not buy the Windows version, no support.

It’s a great app but has some bugs they need to fix
I love this app and use it for everything. However recently I upgraded to the plus so it can be synced between my iPhone and iPad using the iCloud. There was a problem when it transferred all the files over and I believe it might have deleted some. so after I have been keeping a good eye on it because you can’t have it be missing transactions(that is screwing you up with keeping track of your money and defeats the purpose of having the app). I have been having a problem with it syncing from iPhone to iPad and I’m afraid if something happens (like me loosing my phone) all my stuff is gonna be gone and won’t go to the iPad. The only reason I’m paying for this is so if something happens I still have all records of my purchases. I tell so many people about this app but I do say there is some bugs and you might want to wait until they fix them. Also if you sign out and sign back in it says that your account doesn’t exist (email address). I love this app but they definitely need to fix it. I downloaded this app while it was on sale for 99 cents. I gotta say, I would’ve bought this at full price had I known its functionality. So far, after learning features, I haven’t been let down. Advice to new users... start at the calendar to input income and expenses. Create an income account to counter anything you want to track into the future that is already paid for. For me, this was tattoo equipment bought before I had the app.
This app can keep track of multiple revenue streams, both one-off and recurring expenses, goals (savings, vacation, car, etc), projected income and expenses, for both personal and business.
It seems to have a feature to link your bank account as well. Although I haven’t done so yet, I may in the near future.
Overall, I highly recommend this app to anyone who has a need for a budget app. If you’ve even been thinking about having a budget, this app is it.

After update to 2.7.6, the app cannot work at all, it keeps crashing every time I opened it.
And more important, there used to be a great widget where I can quickly add a new record to my account. However, it changed into some goals feature which is not only much more useless, but also require an additional subscription(VERY EXPENSIVE) to work. I have paid for this app in the past, and it’s totally unacceptable for the developers to arbitrarily delete the old features just for the purposes of more paid subscription. I will NOT recommend this app until the developer restores this old widget.Show lessliyilin88923
The best...
I was using different types of apps for home and others budgeting ... but some how something always missing ... so was searching a program that full-fill my all needs... when i found this apps .. amazed .. my search is over ... its gives you a free hand from home budget to stocks monitoring....your loans tracking... bank statements... and much more... just try you will never regret... credit goes to a professional team of money pro ...
