Horrible app for syncing
I have used this app for around a year now hoping some resolution would come up but nothing has come. Time to start looking for another checkbook app. I originally got this app for its syncing capabilities but every time I try it messes up. If you plan on using it for only one device it works as it should but if you leave your phone somewhere and want to pull it up on say MacBook or a desktop it duplicates transactions, fails the back up, or even sets the failed backup as default so when you log on from your phone it replaces all your correct data with the messed up version. I have tried the money pro sync and the iCloud sync and nothing works. If you’re looking for a one phone app that budgets, tracks, and balances this may work but if you are wanting to share with someone else or sync across devices please go elsewhere.Show lessjharris249
Needs additional features
After using other money/budget app and then found Money pro. It has most of the features I was looking for. I purchased the pro version for both my iMac and my iPad. However it lacks The ability to create a planned future reoccurring budget item by day of week not just by date. We are now collecting Social security and are paid on the second and fourth Wednesday’s each month. I contacted the developer and the only reply was that that option was not available. Secondly, there needs to be a way edit planned events from a list of items such as from the report list and not just finding the date it was planned.
I held off posting a review to see if the suggestion/request for these features might be added to an update. However the only updates seem to be about placing additional digits after the decimal point. The app would be a five star if these features were included.Show lessR8erfan13
Amazing 😉
I’ve been using the app for so long now in different devices including a Mac version. Easy three-tap transaction addition + widget 🤩, gorgeous reports, budget planners, sync, multiple wallets/accounts/assets/liabilities and every little feature of the app helps me track my money and make sure I have peace of mind about my financial status. I’ve searched many other apps but after I’d used Money Pro, I couldn’t use any others; I had already gotten used to it.
So far theres only one thing to improve - its the quick action when you 3D Touch the app icon and u can see the widget and quick actions to add recurring or planned transactions. When I press on them, they direct me to the transaction adding screen correctly with a category and an account set in the repeating transaction, but they forget to actually patch in the value of the transaction. If this is fixed, all I’ll have to do is to push the ‘Save’ button ;)

Great app
This app really does what it says it will do. I have the app on my iPhone, iPad and windows laptop. I have always tracked my budget using a spreadsheet but it is too difficult to use on a phone. It has taken me a while to get used to the app and how it works, but once I got through the first three months or so, I love using it. I am just beginning to start using the budget part of the app and it is becoming a great tool for learning about my income and expenses. One of the things that kept me using a spreadsheet was the ability to see all my transactions with a particular vendor. This is very easy to do on the app. Just type in your search subject and there you’ll find the list. The only thing I would like to see changed is the inability to see my planned transactions in the part of the app where you do the data entry. I would like those to show up when I am entering a new income or expense. It would help me a lot to see my balance and the due dates for planned transactions. I will continue using the app through the end of 2019 an see how helpful it is when preparing to do my income taxes. By the way, I have contacted the developer a couple of times with questions and have received quick answers, so I’m happy with the customer service.Show lessNewsJunkie 123
Overall good, but buggy
It has a good interface and most of the features you would want in an app like this, however it’s generally pretty buggy particularly around the sync features. It’s also pretty confusing at first to figure out how to sync but when it does work the notifications each person can see are good.
The bill pay and budgeting functions could be better such as adding the ability to override the budget for a specific month without impacting the following months.
Support is pretty responsive to issues so that earned an extra star.Show lesseasy530
Banks are not set up for import. Customer service is a joke.
Do not purchase Money Pro Gold product with the expectation that you will be able to import account information or that they will be adding additional banks in a timely manner, if ever. To my dismay top financial institutions in the USA are not supported such as DISCOVER, CITI CARDS, BARCLAY CARD. On their product community forum, purchasers around the world are being asked to submit their requested bank, which will then be “voted on” by other users to determine if it will be added to their system. DISCOVER was requested four months ago and still hasn’t been added. Buyer beware. I’m glad I Purchased this with my American Express card so I can have the charges canceled for failure to provide service as advertised and paid for. This company is a total joke. Vote???!!! And we might consider it????!!! After I paid????!! When I contacted customer support, this is was the reply:
No, we do not have any estimate, unfortunately. We gather the information to help us make a decision when we add a new or change our current provider. If your bank is voted for, we will definitely consider that.Show lessARScopio

I've been using this app for well over a year now, and have been very satisfied. Yes there are other apps like Mint etc. which are good apps, but for the price and what it has to offer you can’t go wrong. It’s especially a great app. If your just trying to keep a handle on your income and expenses and don’t need all the other extras other apps. offer. Don’t be fooled this app. does a lot. Would get five if had a place for escrow payments
This app is fantastic! You don't have to connect it to your bank...it keeps track of everything...you can make your own categories and sub calories.. you can even mark expenditures business or personal... The only thing that I have not figured out how to do, when I make my mortgage payments, is where to put the escrow money. This is worth every penny!!! Not only bought it for my phone but got the one for my desktop too! Sometimes it's easier when reconciling too do it on my computer.Show lessLaura Muss
Great but....
I love this app but it has it's issues still. Whenever I make a change in how my accounts sync it ruins my transactions and ruins my numbers. After restoring from a backup to fix it now it messes up all the reports and now I can't go in depth into my income/spending because it doesn't account all my transactions even though they're still there. I tried to give the money pro sync a try again and ruined everything. Again. Something similar happened when I first used it years ago and I regret trying it again. Great app! Great customer service, a little slow but good!
Been using Money for years now, always been a great app and up to date. I had some issues with my data syncing across my devices when upgraded to pro & subscribed for a year, but I contacted tech support and they fixed my issue. Just a little slow for my liking, but they did fix it. Since then, everything has been working just fine and I getting what I paid for.
