I use it everyday, I purchased for my wife also she uses it everyday. Great app purchased Pro version so we can have all the features, been using it for years now. No issues and still no issues with the app itself. Only problem now is just like all other apps now everyone is going to a subscription. You purchase the app expecting all features then a new version comes out and you can’t fully use the app because now you need to pay a monthly / yearly fee for it. Used to be great, until the devs got greedy.
The current version of the app crashes on launch. Don’t buy it. You’ll get ripped off.
I switched to this app three years ago to replace iReconcile, another once-great app that got abandoned. Money pro used to be an awesome app, allowing sync between all of your iOS and Mac devices via iCloud.
Unfortunately, the developers got greedy, and decided to launch their own subscription-based sync service. Since then, the app has gone downhill. iCloud sync still works, sometimes, when you’re not bombarded with pop-ups asking you to subscribe. Or, when the latest app update doesn’t crash entirely every time you try to launch it.
I don’t mind when app developers decide to go with a subscription model that’s reasonably priced. However, I paid a lot of money for the iOS and Mac apps, and combining those high barriers to entry with the subscription model they’re pushing so aggressively, feels like highway robbery. Add to that an app that doesn’t even open without crashing immediately, and that leads me to tell everyone to STAY AWAY.Show lessscaredpoet

This app has the potential to be great but there are glitches that have proved costly for me. Ordered the Family Cloud so me and my wife could both keep up with the register and enter data in from our respective devices but it didn’t work for us, every time she opened up the app on one of her devices it changed the balance. Contacted customer service and they were as lost as I was about it. Kept telling me to go to places on the app that didn’t exist to ‘send us diagnostic data’. Expressed my frustration and still no answer. 👎👎

Pretty nice app and maintenance is great
I used to use anther one to track my expense but the maintenance is almost nothing. After changing to this, I got all of my needed functionalities and more, they do maintain the app all the time. For the latest version, I found they added the quick way to add a payee which bothered me a little in the past. Actually I don’t need the connection to my bank accounts, only a handy tool to keep tracking my expense, giving out a nice report, nice view and easy access. That’s all. I gave 5 stars because it fulfilled all my needs.Show lessspice134

I’ve just about tried every other money manager out there on my Mac, iPad and iPhone and this one takes the cake. It syncs between your devices through iCloud so everything is always up to date. Thank you Money Pro!
Update: Caution! Don’t get the “Gold” sync to your bank add-on. It doesn’t sync all transactions like it reads it is supposed to. I could only get 6 days worth of transactions out of it. That’s not worth the $50 it costs. In addition, there’s no way to contact the company. I’ve looked at their website and scoured their guide for any ideas or an email for support and there isn’t one. Recent updates destroyed my data
I have the money Pro installed on my Mac iPad and iPhone, I noticed that my iPhone and iPad were not up to date with my Mac, after checking the settings I noticed that on both my iPhone and iPad iCloud sync was turned off so I turned them on thinking they would update, not so instead it pushed what was on my iPhone everywhere else and upon further investigation I come to find that the data it pushed was incorrect and somehow corrupted, for example on one of my accounts I had a balance of no more than $200 but now it’s showing that I have a balance of +$650 before recent updates all my devices were in sync now I don’t even know if it is worth my time to try and repair the damage caused by recent updates, I am very disappointed.Show lessrandom4423

I’m using the iPhone X now however I’ve used the 6plus and 7plus and when you update your software it always puts me in the negative for no reason. I do like the app. But this issue causes me a headache because not I have to do a check balance and add in Ghost Funds to put the account back on the correct amount it should be. Is there an easy fix when this happens??
I tried emailing however unable to locate how to contact you. With that said if been using the pro version of the app and your time pro app for many years. I’ve been thru all the updates. I think now is the time to add more themes. These old themes have become extremely boring. A new look is a must. Please it’s my recommendation. Thanks in advance 🙏🏽Show lessMiaKia

I’ve been using their budget app for years when they were ibear Decided to upgrade and it worked good for awhile. Except for the way they have the date chooser set up. Super tedious. You have to scroll through every day of the year if you need to input something from the past. I don’t always put my finances in right away. So having to scroll is a huge pita. Example. You want to put in an expense for two months ago, you have to scroll though 60 days to get to the date. And then end of May I stopped being able to import which is huge for me. And I contacted support. They keep telling me they’re working on it.....2 and 1/2 months later nothing.Show lessDivekathster
Best Personal Finance App
For only $5, I can now keep track of where my money is going. I’m able to look at graphs of my cash flow among many other things. I used to keep every single receipt to cross check them with my bills. Now, every time I make a purchase I just put it into the app. Then, when I receive a bill from a creditor, I can print my transactions from the app to cross check. With the premium feature you’re getting your money’s worth. How much will it cost to hire a personal accountant or bookkeeper? Not $5! This app is perfect for me!Show lessrebeccalove412
Don’t buy this app until it’s fixed
I have used this program as an upgrade from their HD Checkbook for years, I loved it and used it almost daily to manage my finances and budget. However in version 1.9.3 they broke it, the lists reset every time you make an edit, and you will have to scroll repeatedly back to where you are working for every single change. Frustrating and time consuming. I have submitted multiple tickets, provided detailed emails, and steps to reproduce the problem and each one gets closed with no improvement. They have updated 3 times for bug fixes since and 1.9.7 is still broken. Don't waste your money, unless they publish this item is corrected.
