Buggy
I want to like this app, but it's pretty buggy. Sometimes when you press the home button or modify the queue, the song that is currently playing starts over. Sometimes when you add a song to the top of the queue, it doesn't play (it gets removed from the queue). Sometimes when you try to modify the queue, the changes don't get saved. Sometimes it hangs (I'm not talking about the iOS 11.2 lag, this is different) and sometimes it even crashes. It doesn't seem to update song metadata (e.g. 'last played' and play count) in a timely fashion. Songs that have just played still appear in the queue. If you add a long playlist (a couple thousand songs) to the queue, it reduces it to about 500 songs, I have no idea how it selects which songs to play when it does this. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app and get the same results. I'm on iOS 11.3.
Update for version 4.3: This app has gotten a lot better since the developer implemented workarounds for the Apple bugs. However, the Apple bugs still make it very difficult to modify the queue. Is there anything we can do to push Apple along? Post something on the feedback site perhaps? Shame on Apple for not fixing these bugs, they've known about them for a long long time.

Great App
The best app for you to have a classic style mp3 on your iPhone. I’ve been using it for a year and a half now and haven’t looked back!
I love album artwork and I love for the song viewer how it uses the maximum space on your phone unlike the Apple Music app!
Similarly, the only thing I would improve is being able to change the size of the album covers on the alphabetical list albums list. Getting to toggle between small medium large would be great! I really like how you have the ability to customize your settings in this app!

Constant crashes
The developer unfortunately doesn’t offer a lite or trial version of this app, so I had to make sure it was exactly what I wanted before I purchased it I did the research and it looked like after iOS 12, most of the stability issues were gone, so I rolled the dice and finally updated my iPod touch from iOS 9 (the last iOS to have a decent stock music app) to 12 and purchased the app yesterday. I seriously wish Apple had some form of refund system in place until whatever issues Apple and Cesium are having are sorted out. The only way I can get the player to not crash almost every time I turn on my screen is to disable the advanced queuing feature but at that point I pretty much spent $2.99 on a re-skin of the stock iOS music player. I appreciate the developer creating this app as it looks like there is a lot of passion put into it and I hope his talks with Apple go well.

Fantastic music app!!
Slide, swipe, force touch - very slick usability missing in so many other music apps.
And dark mode-like appearance is the icing on the cake.
Regularly updated, always fresh. Highly recommend.

Would vote 5 but don’t want the devs getting big headed. Love the app though does exactly what I wanted.....except...
Because the app can interface with Apple Music, could a feature be added where (just like in the stock iOS music app) you can delete the currently playing track from your iTunes library. Otherwise when one of my 17k+ songs plays which I didn’t even know I had and it’s rubbish, I don’t want to have to switch to stock app in order to delete the app, would rather do it through Cesium.

Thanks for protecting my ego ;) Unfortunately, deleting tracks from the iTunes library is not allowed for third party apps at this time (due to iOS sandboxing).
What Apple Music was and should be. Needs better scrobbler
Update: app doesn’t work as well as it used to. It might be updates by apple’s fault but daft it is freezes often, crashes, often becomes unresponsive. Sometimes you have to go into the Apple Music app to stop the music playing. Still like the layout but it needs to be more reliable

It's not precise when's moving and the hit box for your finger to activate it is way too small. The one thing the new Apple Music player does well is an improved scrobbler. Copy nothing from Apple Music but that scrobbler user experience.

It prioritized usability over eye candy in the cluttered/poor interface Apple Music app. that is probably there for people that don't actually have Music collections. Otherwise they'd want better navigation in the Apple Music app. If you want the old Apple Music player's layout, look, and general function back this is an app you'll like. It's what you've been looking for. And there's other customization like colors, mines all black with blue lettering, night mode style. And other options.

Shuffle Problems
I’m back to loving this app. It seems that the shuffle mode got changed to “albums” somewhere along the line. I had to search for the setting, so I’m sure I didn’t do it (I didn’t even know it existed). It must have happened during an update. In any case, things are working fine again!
Previous post: I’m very frustrated. When you swipe right on an artist’s name and select “shuffle,” it shuffles the ALBUMS, not the songs. So, if you want to listen randomly to all songs by a particular artist, you can’t. That’s new behavior, I believe, and has caused me to quit using what was once a powerful and reliable app.

Good, but used to be great
First started using this app two years ago and loved it. There have always been some glitches but they’ve been rather minor. After upgrading to iOS 11 the glitches have gotten more major. The most annoying glitch is the app controls will randomly freeze - music will still be playing but you can’t control anything. The only way I’ve been able to fix it is to force close the app and then reopen it. A couple of times I’ve had to restart my phone. Super annoying.
The other really odd thing the app does is if I haven’t been playing music for a while, say a few hours, whatever song I play next will restart at some point in time during its playback. It’s only the first song, and it’s only once. After that playback resumes as normal.
Even with those glitches Cs is far and away better than iOS’s music app.

Total Cool but...
I love this, especially the landscape mode and prevention of auto lock. Settings are great, though not as useful for my use.
However the easy to use controls on the always available controls (auto-lock blocked) drives me nuts! I’m constantly hitting the “shuffle” control that accidentally turns it off. I wish there was a setting to disable these easy to use controls, I am constantly accidentally turning off settings.
Other than these too easy to hit by accident controls, this is my favorite music player hands down. Night time setting is wonderful as well as all the customizable control colors.

The Best Music Player
I’ve tried a lot of different Music Player apps out on the market and I can honestly say this is the best one. What really stands out to me is all the control that is implemented over your music. My favorite component about this app is the ability to go down a shuffled queue and quickly pick what will play next. However, it’s not yet perfect though I believe it’s on its way. The biggest issue is stability. Lots of freezing and overall slowness sometimes. I believe if the developer made this app independent from the stock app that it would run much smoother. Also if you could find it in your heart to throw in a cross fader functionality at some point that would be amazing. Other then that though this app is still the best out there and I praise it everyday!
