Our MyBlue App is a simple and secure way for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts members to manage their health care. Our app is the most convenient way to stay informed about your plan when you need it. It connects you securely to your health plan information when you need it. With a simple tap, you can connect to your claims history, recent prescriptions, and financial accounts balances. To use the app, you must register using your member ID that is located on your member ID card.   • Garbage

    This app is complete garbage. Pretty sure it was created with whatever technology existed in 1995. It’s slow, buggy, and awful. Seriously, pretty sure this was a first grade class’ computer project to build this app. It’s outdated looking and acting in every way possible. It’s difficult to find anything about your insurance plan. The claims information gives no information at all. Locating EOBs is next to impossible. Trying to figure out where the random numbers they calculate towards you deductible is impossible. They give zero insight into claims or your plan, which I am sure is on purpose. Best of all, the “contact us” button within the app sends a message to an “unmonitored inbox”. Was literally told that by a rep after they failed to respond to my inquiry. Why exactly does their Windows ‘95 app include links to “unmonitored inboxes”? I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that a company that is cheap and unethical as this one who denies care for the sake of lining the pockets of their executives wouldn’t spend time investing in an app that was actually useful. They hide benefits information from their customers, misquote benefits when asked, then deny claims that only occurred because they misquoted benefits. The app design is intentionally terrible, just like their coverage and ethics.

    This app has options to “meet with a behavioral therapist” Or other providers like nurses and doctors online. However the app takes atleast 10 minutes to log into and get to the visit, and if you can’t get into the app for whatever reason it locks you out and you can’t see your provider. In addition to that you have to jump through hoops in the app to event get to your visit page. Its a mess, someone who looks into customer experience/patient experience needs to look it over :/
  • And the “app support” number leads you back to BCBSMa where I STILL can’t log in

    I am still trying to get my account access. FaceID worked as usual today but after it recognized me, it wanted me to used UserID and Password anyway. That’s what FaceID is FOR! So you don’t HAVE to. It would not even recognize my UserID! Even after I got the account unlocked. The so called “app support” phone number isn’t app support so don’t bother calling. It’s some poor sod using a BROWSER. They can’t send screenshots to the app support team because THEY ARE ON THE BROWSER. Not the app! I’m currently STILL unable to log into my account on the app even now it’s unlocked. The “help” desk supposedly sent an email to the app team. This happens at LEAST once a month but sometimes as soon as 3 days later. The bug is never fixed. Worst app ever. Why don’t they hire a junior high kid to redesign the app? I’m sure the app would improve drastically.
