I've used this app several times now. The app itself couldn't be easier to use. I pay for my two hour session faster than it would take me to feed the meter. I've never gotten a ticket while using it. I've talked to a meter maid because I was curious on how the whole system worked. She said that the biggest problem so far with it is the hand held devices that they are issued. When it works, it works great but when it doesn't it's obviously useless. She said she would never issue a ticket without checking first. Also the people are putting in their plate numbers into the app wrong. They put it all sorts of characters and symbols that are not needed and don't belong on their plate. Same goes with the space bar. There is no need to type in space between any of the characters.
