Best Pet Insurance for the money!
After over $20k in vet bills for our two prior dogs over their respective 10 year lives, we opted for Nationwide for our AmStaff on the recommendation of our daughter. Since obtaining Nationwide coverage, our new dog has had a couple of medical issues. Nationwide processes our claims rapidly and their EOB’s are clear and easy to read. The customer service staff clearly and accurately give guidance and information and they are always pleasant. If you want easy, this is it!
Very comprehensive and easy to use. We have 6 pets (3 we purchased and 3 that we’re abandoned at our hunting property), so we have a lot to track and it can get confusing. This App gives each pet their own profile making looking something up super easy. Before this I had to pull receipts and decipher who got what. What I love most about this app is any of my family members can access the relevant info on their device. Very convenient
I’ve had the app for a couple months and I’m glad I got it. Really nice to be able to view medical history including prescriptions, lab work, weight management, etc. I can request appointments, set up reminders for heartworm/tick, see grooming service history, etc. Also nice to be able to share records with friends and family that also have the app. I can view my other dog’s info who doesn’t live with me currently or if someone is taking care of my dog while I’m away, they have all medical info they need through the app if they can’t reach me. Amazing for Claims
If you use pet insurance and hate submitting claims, this app is for you.
Using the app to submit claims has never been easier. I would give the app 5 stars except that I constantly have problems that cause me to have to shut down the app. Or It will unexpectedly log me out and hang until I am forced to delete the app completely and re-download.
Not sure if this is because it is not formatted for the iPad or if there is a different bug issue. Either way, I hope it gets fixed because it would be 100% perfect.Show lessKimba27638019
Great Pet Management
VitusVet is absolutely wonderful! I no longer need to remember anything concerning my pets care. My vet enters their notes and I’m able to enter my own as well. I even have pictures of my pets food and document how much each receive. I have notes on daily and emergency medications too so o no longer need to go find papers to see what I need to do for them in an emergency situation. I can’t thank the developers and creators of this app enough. You saved my cats life. I recently had to find a vet and call poison control at 2am in the morning for my cat. During this emergency I was able to find a local vet to drive to, call them to alert them, got directions, and on the drive over opened up a case with nationwide’s vet helpline so that i would have a case # ready to go for the vet when i walked in the door. All of this was done on your app with amazing ease. Your integration with nationwide insurance is amazing and gave the vet all the information they needed right away. Thank you!!!Show lessh7speedy
Must have for those who share life with pets
I’ve had the App for about six months and it has been a lifesaver on more than one occasion. I have several pets, each with their own health issues. Each of my pet’s records are stored separately in the App including Lab Records and results, specialist visits, surgical procedures, vaccine records, prescriptions , etc. All this can be shared with Family members, other pet care professionals (groomers, kennels, daycare facilities, training facilities, etc).
No more carrying around folders of paperwork for each pet. App stores microchip number for each pet, tattoo numbers, registration numbers for different dog sport venues and the notes section be used to store other important info, ie type food(s) fed, medication schedule, grooming schedule, or even appointments scheduled for future visits. Absolutely Wonderful!
All I really have to say is, “Ditto” for the review given Aug 10 titled “A Must Have for Pet Owners”. This app is exactly everything everything that was written in that review! I really love that I’m able to submit requests for appointments without having to remember to call the vet during regular business hours. Sometimes, for me, with my schedule, that is so hard to do. This app makes it so easy to look at my schedule and request an appointment whenever I have the time to do so and at my leisure. It definitely IS a must have.Show lessADNUP123
Easy to use. Seamless UI.
This app is straight and to the point. No frills. That’s exactly what you want when you want to worry about your pet and not submitting a claim. Taking a picture and uploading is easy.
Only issue is the vets you can pick to be your home / main vet. Mine always opens to an emergency vet I don’t often use instead of the vet I always use. I also wasn’t able to get the records yet.
Hoping my vet or whatever / whomever gets with the program so I can have all of the info in one place.

Love this App!
I’ve had this app for 5 months now and totally love it! When I got my puppy, I had no idea we’d be frequent flyers at the vet’s office between all the puppy issues of eating things he shouldn’t. 🤦🏻♀️ I love that I can track his weight so I can see exactly how fast he’s growing, can scan in important documents like vaccination records and licenses, and the best thing is how easy it is to submit the reimbursement for Nationwide Pet Insurance! I just take a picture of the vet bill and boom, off it goes! Getting the reimbursement takes a long time- like 3- 4 weeks- but that’s on Nationwide, not the app. I loved being able to share my pet’s profile with my family and pet sitter’s so they have it all when I travel! Hands down, an awesome app! Now if I could just get my vet to sign up with them, my appointments would sync......🤞🏻Show lessCjvigg
