Impossible to sign in
If you must force users to create an account, then at least have the sign in process work correctly. Existing account, verified via email, and the login screen just sits there doing nothing when trying to log in.

Broken
Seems to be broken - I can no longer find where to copy and paste a web link and can't get past the highlights screen once signed in. No obvious way to get to the home screen. There seems to be no connection to Evernote. Please sort as I really like this app.Annette TheDesigner
Liner is everything an app should be
This app is simply awesome. I downloaded it a while ago but have only just got round to trying it out. I'm not prone to hyperbole but even with just 48 hours use, I can't now imagine reading on my iPad and iPhone without it.
Liner fits perfectly into my workflow, it's completely in tune with the way I think, it is a fantastic productivity tool and it solves a problem. I thought the days of uncovering surprising gems of apps like this were over and I'm delighted to have been proven wrong.
The sync feature works seamlessly across devices and I love being able to export my saved highlights to my Evernote account.
My only criticism is that the app won't highlight passages of text that span separate paragraphs. You have to highlight the start of the passage in the first paragraph and then create a second highlight of the remaining text in the following paragraph, meaning you need two saves instead of just one. If the developers can fix that, this app will then be absolutely indispensable to me.
(OK: one more niggle - on desktop I wish there were extensions for Safari and Firefox, not just Chrome.)
But these really are just niggles. Liner is already great and it stands on the threshold of magnificence.Show lessminitrue

They don't stop emailing me
I downloaded this app and deleted after 5 minutes as I didn't like it. However, since then, the app company have not stopped emailing me!! I've tried marking it as spam, and they send me emails under a different name. Seriously, even if I DID like the app, it's not exactly something I want to be emailed about 3 times a day!! It's just a stupid highlighter app which doesn't work anyway!! App makers, please get a life and STOP EMAILING ME!!!!!Show lessLittleLotusFlower
Nice way of capturing points of interest
If I see something in a website that I want to remember, I can simply highlight it and check in the app later to find it again. Very powerfulFlyingBadgerMachine
Unfortunately very buggy
Why I'm I forced to use an online account for my hi-lights? I don't need it, I'm perfectly fine with export to Evernote.
