Terrible, please user test and fix ASAP

It looks good and seems like it should work well but there are so many elementary user interface and experience issues it seems like it was designed in haste for someone’s computer science final project and published in the app store without doing any beta testing. Having to re-enter basic profile information, losing data because it won’t save a draft, failing to accept a submission without any user feedback as to why, and many other issues. The old version seemed to work well enough, did the basics. This is simply terrible and highly frustrating because we residents really NEED it to work.

Useless

I downloaded this hoping there had been improvements since the last review. Not only is it difficult to use but even when you get through the entire process at the end you will get a message that an error occurred and to CALL 311 instead. What is the point?

Does. Not. Work.

The app produces an error message each time a request is submitted.

Can’t put in service requests

Nice idea but what use is it when no one responds

The app is nice and slick, but what is the use when you open a ticket for parking enforcement and it's closed 2 days later with no action taken. I've done this multiple times with the same end result. Ticket closed no action taken.

Needed to be tested before releasing

It’s really slow and the login system is just sad: about 90% of the time it’ll log you out so you have to wait for it to very slowly log in, and sometimes it’ll incorrectly say that your password is wrong (I use a password manager so I know it’s a backend server problem).

It should remember request types you use regularly so you don’t have to search every time.

The “did you attach a photo?” nag question should be skipped when you upload a photo.

Complete garbage

This app is a great example of just how terrible government-run digital services can be.

The list of nuisances you can report is long yet strangely limited - there’s no way to report a blocked sidewalk, for example, which is something that should be a no brainer when the user obviously has the technology to snap and upload a quick picture. Services they do let you report are sometimes confusing, written in Public Works jargon with no description of what they mean. There’s literally one just listed as “test”, which I assume means “... my nerves.”

The long processing times they report make you wonder why you even bothered in the first place. If your city government can’t bother to care, why should you?

This entire experience was obviously not developed with the user in mind. Not even 3rd or 4th in mind. It’s Byzantine, apathetic, useless and a complete mess ... so it’s the perfect reflection of your DC municipal government.

No longer works

Tickets no longer submit after upgrading to iOS 13.3.

UI is bad / not setup well for mobile.

Would be great if it worked

I thought maybe the interface being hard to use would be it’s only issue. But it also crashes when trying to report something, rendering the app useless.

Poor Execution

This app is a step backwards from the SeeClickFix app it replaces. The UI is pretty poor - some menu elements are outside of the tappable area on my iPhoneX. Map functionality also needs work. Also it would be great if comment functionality was added back. Previously you could add new comments on a submitted ticket. As far as I can tell, that is no longer an option. Side note, closed tickets don’t appear to update in the app. Not sure if this is the app’s fault or just the laziness of DC 311 not closing out tickets. I have several that have been open forever.
